Reflect on diagnostic

assessment
In general, the mean of diagnostic assessment is allowing a teacher to
determine students abilities through their individual strength and
weaknesses knowledge. Also, the diagnostic assessment helps the
teacher to assess the difficulties of the students. Then, the teacher tries
to search and work to guide lesson and curriculum planning according
to the abilities and skills of students. However, I was interviewed my
mentor school teacher and asked him about diagnostic assessment, so I
noticed that it is an important assessment because the teacher acquire
information about their learners. For example, my mentor school
teacher said diagnostic assessment help him to knew what area of the
curriculum needed more attention and its helpful assessment for
learning so, that help them group her class according to their abilities.
More specifically, I consider that the diagnostic assessment is
important to UAE early childhood because teacher can assess their
different abilities and scaffold them and create suitable activates
according to their levels. In addition, the diagnostic assessment is an
affective way and teachers should use it in classroom in future to help
students in an early childhood because while teacher categorize
students through their abilities that way will keep them understand the
concept of the lesson in clearly way and will keep students interactive
while they work.
