Responsibilities of HOMESCHOOLER PARENT:

1. Provide the venue for the teaching – learning environment to student enrolled.

2. Submit all registration / enrollment forms together with other requirements for enrollment.

3. Provide blended learning and tutorial services to the enrolled students.

4. Hire and pay the salaries and wages of teachers, tutors, and facilitators who conduct teaching or extend
tutorial services to the student enrolled.

5 Provide resources (human, time, place) to insure a conducive learning environment.

6. Coordinate with the school on participation of students in annual school activities.

7. Coordinate with the school regarding use of modules and other instructional materials.

8. Conduct the monthly and quarter examinations including diagnostic tests to the student.

9. Submit the academic performance of student on an agreed time.

Once you received soft copies of the electronic books/modules/handouts and the monthly/quarterly
examinations you may start your homeschool/openschool/modular journey. Kindly refer to the table of
contents of the materials sent for your lesson sequence. Coverage of our teacher made monthly/quarterly
examinations is more or less related to the electronic books. Our teacher-made tests will serve as the final
assessment for each learner.

We cannot provide you the day to day activity lesson guide/lesson plan/lesson logs. The school provides
the learner/ parent an electronic copy, hard copy of books/modules/handouts, and an electronic copy of the
monthly/quarterly examinations. Parent/s may provide additional learning materials/methods/means for the
needed learning of his/her child. Please refer to the Department of Education Website, Deped Tambayan,
and other education sites of the world wide web for additional sources.
