INTRODUCTION-:
This manual is an attempt to deliver the proper installation procedures, to help
the execution to install the structure with zero defects level.

PROCEDURE-:
1. Roof marking-:

The identification of roof is the primary objective of the site concerned. The roofs
may be identified as follows-:

1. R.C.C. type.

2. R.C.C roof (With brick bats water proofing)

3. Mud fuska type

4. China mosaic type

5. Plain aggregates type

The, roof shall be identified than respective suggestions shall be taken from the
customer and details shall be notified to the design concerned and proceedings
shall be made.

2. Foundation marking

The roof marking shall be carried out as per the detailed drawing circulated by the
Design the roof layout shall be carried out to establish the foundations if any
unfavorable situation occurs at site due to which shadow, obstacles.etc. is
observed by the site concerned shall inform the design and take approval
regarding the changes.

The format of roof layout is also as per row-column indication with proper spaces
mentioned as per the survey.

3. Cleaning of roof surface

The roof surface top layer shall be thoroughly cleansed with the help of detergent
to remove the dust laitance. The, extent of cleaning, chipping (where required)
shall be made as per recommendations of design.

4. Chemical coating.

The chemical i.e. nito bond EP shall be applied with the help of brush on the
cleaned area and concrete shall be poured after 30 min of pasting of chemical.

5. Erection of channel

The channel shall be ensured perpendicular to the roof surface, checking may be
done with tools such as-: plumb bob, spirit level. etc concrete shall be poured and
perpendicularity shall again be cross-verified till the concrete is wet. Supports
may be applied to ensure the perpendicularity after it becomes dry.

6. De-shuttering

De-shuttering shall be done after 15 hrs from the time of casting. Shuttering
shall be gradually removed to avoid damage to the concrete after removal of
shuttering wet gunny bags shall be applied on the pedestal & shall be
thoroughly cured time to time.
