McDermott’s office in Kuala Lumpur is undertaking extensive recruitment to support our exciting project
pipeline. You can earn a cash payment of US$1,000* and help the business grow by tapping into your
professional network and making an Employee Referral.
For the referring employee to be eligible for the Employee Referral payment the candidate must do the following:
Apply for the relevant requisition through the careers page on the McDermott
website https://www.mcdermott.com/Careers
Select ‘Employee Referral’ as the ‘Source Type’
Provide the referring employees full name and SAP number in the ‘Source Details’ field
Provide total cash package salary expectations
CVs should not be sent directly to HR or functional managers and HR will not amend applications where the
above process has not been followed. Please note that only candidates selected for interview will be contacted by
the Talent Acquisition team.
An employee will be ineligible to receive an Employee Referral payment in the following situations:
They are a member of the HR function
The candidate is already an existing direct, full-time, exempt or non-exempt employee of the Company
The employee making the referral is a Grade 11 and above
The employee making the referral has a direct or indirect influence on the hiring decision
Any employee referring immediate family members (spouse, child, step-child, parent, step-parent, grandchild
or grandparent)
Where the candidate has already been referred or submitted form another source prior to the employee
referral being made e.g. recruitment agency, direct applicant, other employee etc
Where the candidate worked for the Company either as a direct hire, contractor, consultant or temporary hire
within the last twelve (12) months
Employee Referral payments will be paid in two parts; 50% in the first payroll following the hiring date and 50% in
the first payroll following the successful completion of six (6) months of service
