About the Project
Subliminal Blaster Powered Project is the continuation of the discontinued

Subliminal Blaster Project, originally created by Geigle Christian, in 2009. The software
created by Christian become outdated and full of bugs in the most recent operating
systems and there were many comments at the web about errors and common failures
that usually displeased the software users.
We made some tests in 2010 and we decided to adopt the project. In 2011, we
released our first version of Subliminal Blaster Powered: the Subliminal Blaster Powered
3. After a long time of programming, we could make it working with most of the features
contained in Christian’s version and we corrected some bugs that we have cataloged in
the previous version. Some months after the release in SourceForge we reached more
than 30 weekly downloads of our software – a very considerable number. However, the
software still had many limitations that we would like to overcome. Unfortunately, in
2012, due to a tragic accident, we lost the SB3 source code. Due to this loss, had to stop
the bug correction in the software.
Still in 2012, we decided to start to project the new version of SB: The Subliminal
Blaster Powered 4, which you might already have installed in your computer in the
current moment. After long weeks developing the sketch of the project and studying the
possible technologies that might be used for improving the user experience and
software quality, we have started developing the software. Although we have mourned
about our previous software code loss, this loss have brought benefits to the software.
We have re-projected the entire software from its core to the user interface with
methods that are more efficient, with a better programming logic and more grounding
in the resources of the Operating System.
Now in state of distribution and constant update, Subliminal Blaster is at full
throttle. The new version was approved for most of the Windows versions for desktop
used currently.
Subliminal Blaster is a freeware project and it cannot be commercially
distributed. The project receives support from the own users by donations which help
to keep the website online and keeping the programmers committed in the project
through the payment of a little salary.

Neuro linguistic Programming

Every human being has yearns, goals, plans for the future as well as every human
being also has vices, foibles, and common practices of itself. Imagine if it could be
possible to “program” our mind!
Allow us to explain it better. Imagine that our mind is like a computer. This
computer has stored on it linguistic information that we associate to our reality. You call
a chair of “chair” because your brain associated the wooden object existing in the real
world with the linguistic code chair through the perceptions of your senses and your
capability of cognitive reasoning and code storing.
Continuing our example, a computer needs software that controls it. A software
determines how the computer is going to behave. If you open a music player, you will
never be able to create spreadsheets on this software. Now, imagine how this is applied
for our mind. Imagine you started a program for taking a shower. It is a very common
and automatic habit.
Imagine now if it were possible to change your habits that you have or if it were
possible to acquire new habits? It’s exactly what NLP does. To Connor and Seymour
“Neuro Linguistic Programming is the art and the science of excellence, of personal
qualities”.
The “Neuro Linguistic Programming” – NLP – is formed from the following idea:
Programming, which refers to the organizational mode of ideas to reach a determined
goal, Neuro, which represent the idea in which all behaviors are neurological processes,
and the linguistic, which refers to the code that we use to make the world “make sense”.
Among so much tracks of NLP, we have a technique called “Subliminal
Messages”. These words chills the spine of most of people, people influenced by
religious fanaticism. Subliminal Messages is a technique, which is constantly used by
marketing companies for suggesting people for choosing a specific product instead of
other similar or for suggesting people for adopting specific social behaviors.
Subliminal Messages, as the proper word says, hits the threshold below the
conscious level of thinking. It can be shown of much ways like pictures, text and sound.
In this little manual, we will treat about the text subliminal messages.

The Vicary’s Experiment

It is impossible talking about text Subliminal Messages and do not mention the
remarkable experiment of Vicary, which implemented a technique called “Subliminal
Projection”. In 1956, Vicary developed an equipment he called “Tachitoscope”, which
was able to show text over a movie projection. Vicary used text subliminal messages in
the equipment and projected over movies the subliminal messages “Drink Coke” and
“Eat Popcorn”. The phrases were shown for 3ms in the screen, making impossible to the
spectator perceive consciously the presence of the phrases on the screen. Vicary
increased in over 57% the selling of Coke and Popcorn after the technique
implementation.
Subliminal Blaster
Subliminal Blaster is a software that have the ability for showing text subliminal
messages over anything you are doing on computer. It uses the same principles applied
by Vicary. However, in this case, you will be using the technique for improving your
qualities and change behaviors.
With Subliminal Blaster you can gradually change behaviors through the constant
exposure to Subliminal Messages relative to what you wish to reach while you type a
text in Microsoft Word, watch a movie on PC, browse randomly the web or do any other
thing normally. As previously told, the subliminal technique does not requires your
conscious attention. Thus, you can use the time you already stay on computer for
improve yourself.
We hope you enjoy this software and that you can finally change your life in a
way you never imagined.

UNDERSTANDING SUBLIMINAL BLASTER INTERFACE

Subliminal Blaster’s interface keeps the same pattern of previous versions, with few
design changes. The interface is divide in the following main sections:
1- Sliding menus
The Sliding menus were created to prevent the main interface to be overloaded with
information. In these menus, you will find access to the advanced customizing and
settings windows of the software.
2- Category List
The category list contains the Themes of Subliminal Messages that will be used. Each
theme has various subliminal messages, which are shown in the Message List.
3- Category Description
Shows the description of the currently selected category.
4- Message List
In this place, the Subliminal Messages contained in the currently selected category are
shown.
5- “Start the Session” Button
This button starts a session of Subliminal Blaster with the currently selected category.

Using Subliminal Blaster
Language Settings
One of new features implemented in the new version of Subliminal Blaster is our
internationalization engine. Through this engine it’s possible that Subliminal Blaster to
be available in more than one language, unlike the third version which just were
available in Portuguese.
Our internationalization engine is divided in two distinct modules: the graphical
interface module and the category package module. The interface represents the
windows, forms, dialogs and texts contained into the software. The category package
represents the categories and the subliminal messages used by the software. This
division in two distinct parts is important for some secondary features.
Selecting an Interface Language

Alternate among GUI languages is extremely simple in Subliminal Blaster.
Imagine that, for example, we accidentally selected Japanese or another language you
do not understand in Subliminal Blaster. The language changing option will be always
available in English.
Always in the second sliding menu, the option “Software Language Selection” will
be available in English, independently the language you are using. By clicking in this
option you must select a language and then apply the language on the software. This
dialog is not translatable and will always stay in English.

Select a language in the selection box, check if information about the language are
correct and apply the language by clicking on the button in the bottom of the window.
Alternating the Categories Pack

Imagine yourself in the following situation. You have Portuguese and English
languages installed on Subliminal Blaster. Imagine that you want to keep the user
interface in English, but show the category pack of Portuguese language. Yes, it is
possible! That is why our translation system is sliced in two distinct modules. The
categories are relatively independent of the Interface translation.
For executing the thinking line we mentioned previously, click in the sliding menu
“Settings” and select the option “Show categories from another language…”. Subliminal
Blaster will show you a dialog asking you which category pack you want to use, like
below:
In this dialog, you can choose a language and check the available categories translated
for the selected language. Select the language you wish and then click on the option
“Load Categories from this language”. Subliminal Blaster will apply the settings and the
software will look like this:

As you can observe, the User Interface Language is in English, however, the categories
listed are in Portuguese. It is a useful feature for some people. This is one of the
suggestions we implemented by community suggestion.
Starting your First Session
Subliminal Blaster Interface was designed for a very intuitive use, even in first
uses. It is possible to start a session immediately after you have installed the software
without need to configure almost nothing. We will show you the procedure for starting
a session.
The first step for starting a session in Subliminal Blaster is selecting a theme, a
Subliminal Messages Category. Choose a category in the list on the left. We will use the
category “Accelerated Leaning” in this example.
Check the information about the category: its description and the subliminal
messages contained on it. It is extremely important to read the messages included in
the category. This helps to affix the ideas about the goal you want to reach.
After checking all the information, click in Start the Session and be happy.
Congratulations! You have just started your first session.
“All right. But if I want to stop the session and select another category?”
It is really simple. Go to the clock bar and search for the Subliminal Blaster icon.
Click on it with the right button of mouse and select the option “Stop Session”, like
below:

By clicking in this option, you will stop the session and return to the program main
screen.
Subliminal Blaster Powered Basic Settings
Subliminal Blaster, as most of softwares, has customization settings that can help
you using the software the most improved way possible. To access Subliminal Blaster
settings, choose the menu “Settings>Open the Settings Panel”. In this panel, you will be
able to change text, time and system settings, beyond Community settings.
Text Settings
These settings allow you to customize the font, size, color and transparency rate
of Subliminal Messages that will appear in screen while you are using your computer.
For most of users, a 100% solid text (without transparency) blinking on screen can be
quite uncomfortable, or the used color can be too much visible, apparent. For these
cases you can change the settings in this tab.

Timing Settings
Subliminal Blaster has high precision timers adjusted to deliver the best
tachitoscopic experience possible. As we are dealing about Subliminal Messages, the
idea is that the user cannot perceive (or perceive the minimum) the Subliminal Messages
on screen. In case you can read the text of Subliminal Messages on screen, you must
change the exposition duration of each message in this tab.
You can also set the interval (in seconds) among the message exhibition.
Creating and Editing Categories

An excellent characteristic of Subliminal Blaster is the possibility of
customization. You do not need to be restrict to the options that we give to you. You
can edit the categories shipped with the program or create brand new categories for
your language. We will show you how this process is made, beyond tips of how to create
categories for Subliminal Blaster on a more efficient way.
Creating a New Category

Creating categories on Subliminal Blaster is quite simple. The Category Wizard is
designed for being simple and objective so we can do the category creation process with
the minimum mouse use. You can create a category without even clicking in the mouse.
Before we start, it is important to note that for creating a new category or edit
an existing category, it is highly recommendable to check the “Tips for efficient category
creation” section, right below the procedures for creation and editing categories.

To create a Category, you can use the menu “Categories>Create a New Category
of Subliminals” or you can hit the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+N and the Category Wizard will
start. Subliminal Blaster will ask you if you want to create a category for your language
or to another language package. Choose the option you desire and then you will see the
Subliminal Category creator form, like in the picture below:
Note that the text editing cursor is already positioned in the first field of the form.
You can fill all the form alternating among the fields using the TAB key and then pressing
ENTER at the end of the form.
You must fill ALL the fields of the form. Else, your category will not be valid to the
program. Fill all the fields and click in “Create a New Category”.
Editing an Existing Category
For editing an existing category in Subliminal Blaster, select the category you
want to edit in the category list. Click in the menu “Categories>Selected Category>Edit
this category”, like below:
When you select this option, the Category Editor will open so you can edit the
category you have selected. Edit the fields you need and click in Save Changes.

Tips for Using Categories and Creating Categories

Please read ALL this section for better using this technology and enjoy the best of
benefits NLP can give you.
About Subliminal Messages exhibition on your computer:
Read each message of category you have selected before start a session. Say the
phrases to yourself. Evaluate your thoughts and feelings. Ask yourself if the messages
are according to what you want to reach. Do you really comprehend the content of each
message? This is important because, for a better effectiveness your conscious must have
interpreted correctly the meaning according to what you want so the changes can
gradually happen.
A Reflection
There is a famous case about a famous hypnotherapist and her patient. The
patient sought the hypnotherapist for losing weight. The therapist suggested her to use
affirmations like “I am getting thin”. After some weeks, the therapy started working and,
certainly, the patient lost weight. However, the patient was discouraged. She lost too
much weight and continued losing weight! That is because the perception or “thin” to
the patient was an excessively thin person, an anorexic state. When the patient changed
the affirmation for “I am thin” and “I look healthy” its weight started to increase again
and the body become the balanced weight image that she was looking for. That is not
magic. It’s simply science. Your mind believe in itself and create the reality about these
beliefs. You just need to feed the correct goals. Be really careful in what you say to
yourself and make sure you REALLY want what you ask or search for.

About New Category creation: we recommend you to read the illustration above
to use this feature too. Be really careful in what you say to your unconscious and define
your objectives so you can mold your personality as you want. It is important choose
only positive messages. If, for example, you want to lose weight, do not write phrases
like “I am not fat, I am losing weight”. Affirming that sentence, you will be repeating to
your unconscious that you are fat. Our subconscious do not understand negative
affirmations. If I ask you to do not think about a yellow square or a purple elephant in a
unicycle passing in a string between two buildings, you certainly will imagine that.
Words like “losing” also invoke negative images. It is better write “My body
weighs the correct and healthy weight”. Use words and sentences that evoke positive
images on your mind.
It is very important affirm in the present time, and not in the future. Writing “I
will be rich” means that you want to be rich someday, in an undefined future. You are
telling yourself that someday you will be rich, never NOW. It is more effective to say “I
now am rich”. Your subconscious is going to work on the idea of making this happen
now, in the present.
BE BATIENT
Remember, changes takes time. It is probable that the affirmations, which you
will feed your mind with Subliminal Blaster Powered, may conflict with other beliefs and
habits you had on your entire life. The change requires exposition.
When your mind receive new information regularly, new beliefs are created
which replaces the previous information. If you find resistance in the beginning it is just
because your mind is protecting what it believes from new interests.
For better effectiveness of this software, it is recommended you use it regularly.
Our software has options for starting automatically with Windows so you will not forget
using it. We also have the Advanced Session, which starts a session automatically with
Windows without any interaction with Subliminal Blaster.

Subliminal Blaster Advanced Features

This section shows you the advanced features we have implemented on
Subliminal Blaster Powered 4 for improving your using experience of this incredible
technology.
Advanced Session
It is the brand new feature of Subliminal Blaster that allows you to automate the
software and use up to 3 categories simultaneously and alternate among them with a
defined interval of category change.
Furthermore, the Advanced Session starts automatically with Windows, without
any interaction being necessary with Subliminal Blaster. Let’s take a look in how to set
this feature:
Use the Advanced Session is quite simple. First, access the menu “Advanced
Session>Configure Advanced Session”. Choose up to three categories in the selection
boxes of the form, set the run time to alternate among categories, choose if you want
to start the session with Windows and mark the notification options if you desire.
After you have selected everything you want in your session, click “Apply
Advanced Session” and the Advanced Session will start immediately. In this kind of
session, you will not be able to see the Subliminal Blaster interface. When the software
opens, it automatically start the session with the selected features. When Windows
starts, the session will start automatically.
For stopping an Advanced Session, use the same procedure indicated in another
chapter of this manual. Right-Click on the icon of Subliminal Blaster in the clock bar and
select the option for stopping the session.

SBUpdater
Subliminal Blaster Project now counts with updating service to inform users
when there are new versions and updates to the software. This feature is so much
important. The software will be constantly updated and the user must always use the
latest version for better using the features of Subliminal Blaster.
Community
Subliminal Blaster Community is still being studied for better implementation in
the project. We want to integrate the users of software. More details will be revealed in
next updates of Software.

Translation
One of most rated suggestions collected from users of many countries (we have
use records of Subliminal Blaster in 92 countries) is the software internationalization.
30% of code of the new version is focused in internationalization features. We worked
hard for making possible to have Subliminal Blaster Powered to be natively available to
the highest number of users possible.
Translate to Other Languages
You can help us! Subliminal Blaster can be translated by the proper users at
http://translate.subliminalblasterpowered.info. For translating the software, it is
required to create an account in Subliminal Blaster Community. In the translation
ambient, it will be possible to translate the interface categories from any language full
available to any language (with preference to the two default languages – English and
Portuguese).
To avoid more waiting for the software release, this feature is only going to be
available in next months, as well as other features of official Website. We have a very
full agenda to follow on our universities.

support and understanding of the community by the big time amount that this project
took for being developed since the last release (Subliminal Blaster Powered 3). The
effort to re-create this software from scratch resulted in an optimized tool in comparison
with the previous version, from its core to the Graphical User Interface.
We would like to thank all the people who donated to our project for keeping
the project active and free.
Subliminal Blaster Powered version 4 will have 2 years of maintenance and
support. After this period, we will start working in Subliminal Blaster Powered 5 with
