launched a business retention and
expansion survey to help better un-

2019 PROPERTY TAX NOTICES


The 2019 Property Tax Notices were mailed on May 16, 2019. If you have not received your notice, please
contact the Town at 403-361-2114. To avoid a 10% penalty on the current levy, payment must be made no
later than June 30, 2019. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or debit during business hours, weekdays
from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A drop box is available at the front door for weekend and after hours payment
drop off, located at 680 Westchester Road. Payments made by mail must be postmarked no later than the
due date noted on your tax notice in order to avoid penalties.

If you wish to enroll in our Tax Installment Payment Plan (TIPP) you must sign up by June 25, 2019 at the
Town Office.

The Village of Standard handed out cheques from the County Regional Infrastructure Services Pro-
gram (CRISP) funding on May 15. Several organizations received funds including the Standard Ag
Society for the outdoor arena, hockey teams and baseball teams, Standard Rodeo Society, Stan-
dard Beautification Group, Standard Curling Club, Standard Library, Standard Community Facility En-
hancement Society, Standard Community Hall and the Standard Nazareth Lutheran Church. Mayor
