Chestnut
A bulky beanie

“Chestnut” is a bulky beanie worked in the round that can be crocheted in two hours.

Choose your bulky yarn, and create your own version : the pattern is simple enough to suit almost
any soft and light yarn of this category.
“Chestnut” is designed for a slouchy look, but if you want to wear it fitted, just work 3 less rounds
in pattern stitch.
This pattern comes in one size : M/L (50.5 cm/20” to 56 cm/22”).
Instructions are written in US crochet terms.

Materials :

- 2 skeins Monoprix “Rayure Double” or 1 skein Katia “Azteca”, or any bulky yarn that
accomplishes gauge.
– One hook size 6 (US J).
– one stitch marker to mark the beginning of the rounds.
– one tapestry needle to weave in ends.

Gauge :

13 st and 7 rows in BPDC = 10 cm x 10 cm (4”x4”).

Stitches and abbreviations :

St : stitch.
