BHATIA BROTHERS LEAVE POLICY- Mumbai Office

1.1 Attendance:
Biometric attendance system is used for all the employees in the company. Each employee has to punch in and out
while entering and leaving the office respectively. HRMS software is used to track the attendance. Payroll is run
using HRMS and any short coming in the attendance is deducted from the respective month’s salary.

1.2 Hours of Work

Sunday to Thursday
and Alternate
Saturday 10.00 AM to 6:00 PM

Lunch Break 30 minutes from 1.30 PM to 02.00 PM

 Weekly Off: Fridays and Alternate Saturdays will be off.

1.3 Leave Year and Applicability


 Sanctioning of leave is at Management discretion based on exigencies of business or seriousness of the case.
 Leave year is from 1st January to 31st December.
 Leave not availed will be lapse after the end of calendar year
 No 2 kinds of leaves can be availed together.
 Any type of leave needs to be applied through HRMS and prior approval required to be taken before
proceeding for leave.

1.4 Types of Leave


The Leave entitlement are as below.

1.5 Privilege Leave:


 Eligibility: After probation period, employee will be eligible for Privilege Leave at the rate of 21 days per
annum. Employees joining on any other day than 1st January will get Privilege Leave on pro-rata basis. Privilege
leave shall be calculated from the day an employee joins on probation.
 Application:
 Application of PL must be made and sanction before commencement of leave.
 Weekly offs and non-working Saturdays falling between the Privilege Leaves shall be counted as a part of
Leave.
 Encashment: Leaves not availed till the end of calendar year will be lapsed.

1.6 Maternity Leave


 A female employee, who has served the company for at least 18 months, shall be eligible for 12 weeks
maternity leave with full pay to include prenatal and postnatal periods. Public holidays occurring during
maternity leave are considered part of it.
 In case of miscarriage or medical termination of pregnancy, a woman shall, on production of the prescribed
proof, be entitled to leave with wages at the rate of maternity benefit, for a period of 6 weeks immediately
following the day of her miscarriage or medical termination of pregnancy.

1.7 Paid Holidays

There will be 12 Paid Holidays per year as per management approval this will include 4 mandatory national holidays
and 8 optional state holidays.

Please Note: All policies are subject to change anytime on Company/Management discretion. In case of any
discrepancy, decision of the Management will be final and binding on all.
