Introduction
------------------------------------------------------------------
This is 2K Sports' official roster update for NBA 2K14 PC, accurate as of June
17th, 2014.
The pack also includes the latest Online Data updates, including art assets,
accurate as of
June 17th, 2014. Please note that you must use the Online Data folder for the
roster update
to work properly.

These updates will be downloaded automatically as long as your PC is connected to

the Internet,
but we are providing them as a standalone download for those who would like to
install them
manually for whatever reason.

Installation
------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT: You may wish to backup the files in your Saves and Online Data folders
first. We
take no responsibility for lost data or any other issues that arise. You have been
warned!

1. The roster save file (2K Official.ROS) needs to be placed in your Saves folder.

XP/VISTA USERS: Go to the Start Menu and click Run. Type in %appdata% with the %
signs.
Then click 2K Sports, then NBA 2K14. Here you will find a folder called Saves; this
is
where you need to extract the 2K Official.ROS file included in this archive.

WINDOWS 7 USERS: Type %appdata% in your Start Menu's search bar and press Enter.
It will take you to your Roaming folder, where you can click 2K Sports and then NBA
2K14.
Extract 2KOfficial.ROS to the Saves folder within.

2. In the same NBA 2K14 folder, you will also find a folder called Online Data.
This is where you must place the contents of the Online Data folder included in
this archive.
You should be able to overwrite any files if prompted, as above please make a
backup first
if you're unsure.

A: Sorry, no. You can always download the latest pack from the Downloads section at
nba-live.com.

Q: I have feedback about the roster, are you interested?

A: This is 2K's official roster, so any suggestions should be sent to the NBA 2K
Insider, not me.
The easiest way of doing that is to Tweet him at @NBA2KInsider.

Q: Will the patch affect my Association/My Player game in progress?

A: No.

Q: Can I apply the patch to Association/My Player mode?

A: You can begin a new Association or My Player game with the updated rosters, but
you cannot apply
the updated rosters to a game that has already started.

Q: I have a complaint about the roster!

A: This is an update by 2K Sports, so let them know about it. Again, please Tweet

Q: When will the next roster be released?

A: As soon as possible, whenever 2K Sports pushes through updates.

Q: Will this update work for the console versions?

A: No, sorry. It's for the PC only.

A: Sorry, I only have the PC version of NBA 2K14 so I can't help you there.

Q: Can I use these rosters as a base for my own update/for a sim league?
A: They're 2K's official rosters, so go right ahead. :)

Q: The update crashes my game. What's the problem?

A: Quite often, new official updates conflict with user edited shoes. Delete the
contents of your
shoes folder (or delete the entire folder) under %appdata%\2K Sports\NBA 2K14.
