People in the world often use drugs as a answer to get better in a sport. Using drugs for sports to improve is not right and unfair. Mayo Clinic staff
website says” Many athletes take anabolic steroids at doses that are much higher than those prescribed for medical reasons. Anabolic steroids have
serious physical side effects such as Infections or diseases such as HIV or hepatitis if you're injecting the drugs ,Inhibited growth and development,
and risk of future health problems in teenagers, severe acne ,physical disorder such as depression,and high blood pressure ” This evidence shows
how people are using more drugs than they are supposed to. The image above shows drugs and medals this could show how the drug can get you
accomplishment that you didn't work for example the hall of fame. Some athletes are getting in the hall of fame for their performance because of
steroids and some aren't because they didn't use drugs and that shows unfairness because the athletas didn't get in with there natural skills. Some
people will say that using drugs like steroids is okay to use and its not cheating when you use them. In an article by Mayo clinic staff it says”Some
athletes take straight testosterone to boost their performance. The anabolic steroids used by athletes are often synthetic modifications of
testosterone.These hormones have approved medical uses. But improving athletic performance isn't one of them.” This shows how the drugs don't
really help improve their skills for the sports, its only improving medical issues. So people who play sports should not use drugs to improve their
skills for a sport.
