I. INTRODUCTION

Choosing a career to pursue in the future is one of the most crucial decisions that someone will undergo and make in his life as it makes a big impact for
future success. It is of great help that during the younger years of a child, he will be guided to the path that suits with his capabilities, skills and mental ability as well.
Everyone possesses variety of skills and talents that are waiting to be unleashed and discover. It is said that, providing the pupils’ school experiences and
opportunities to develop skills, attitudes and understanding to become lifelong learners capable of dealing with changes and able to identify and solve problems is
the great challenge face by education today. Communicating clearly, being competent and confident is not also enough. Thus, students should know how to be
responsible with what they learn and how they live. In today’s evolving and changing world, analysing and knowing one’s strengths will be an advantage of what
career they wanted to pursue further. This career program is intended for Grade-5 and Grade-6 pupils of Couples for Christ School of the Morning Star, Inc.

II. OBJECTIVES
This guidance program aims to:
 assist pupils to plan for their educational achievement and career paths.
 appreciate every career that will be chosen based on one’s interests and personality.
 develop positive behaviors that enable them to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life and work.
 provide a structure that will help the teachers and parents meet the needs of the students.
 help students to have a better understanding of themselves that will lead them make a meaningful career plan.
 ensure the accessibility of the guidance program to the students and teachers.
 gain a significant information about work and trends in the labor market as they navigate the uncertainty and to avoid job-skill mismatch
 help students achieve success through career preparation
