Project 1 Reflection

For this project, we had to reflect on our overall health and wellness. I liked this project

because it really helped me put my eating and exercising into perspective. The project gave me

the chance to reflect on my habits. Last year, I used to be very active and into my health. I used

to go to the gym very often and meal prep to keep track of my daily intake. School began to take

over my time and I stopped doing all of the above.

This project helped me realize that I can find times throughout the week to focus on my

health. I’ve been starting to slowly make my way back to the gym a few times a week. Even if I

can go to the gym for just an hour, I still see it as progress since I am actually going to the gym.

This project also taught me the importance of sustaining a healthy lifestyle. Good health means

you have a good healthy lifestyle. The way you eat is probably one of the most important things,

which I did not know. Maintaining a healthy weight can lower the risks of developing chronic

diseases later in life.
