DIRECTIVES FOR THE TEACHERS

A
ugust was our month of Reflection, and through our Bible

Study we reflected on ‘The Revelations of God’, a message

which was culled from the 2018 International Cell Leaders

Conference. We believe that the outline gave you insight into the per-

sons of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, while also revealing the relationship

between what Jesus came to do and the continuation of His missionary

work here on earth by the Holy Spirit.

This month, we would study another message from the 2018 Interna-

tional Cell Leaders Conference titled: FRUITFULNESS. All Bible Study

Class teachers are expected to carefully study the outline before the cell

meeting date.

 During the meeting, please ensure your members have their Bibles

and all the Scriptures in the outline are read; members have to look

into their Bibles while the Scriptures are read for proper assimilation.

Also make use of the Workbook during the Bible Study as it is de-

signed to help your members retain and remember the knowledge

gained during the study.

 INTRODUCTION

G
od’s desire for His children is for them to be fruitful in

every good work; that is in everything they do or are in-

volved with. That is why He said in 3rd John 2 (KJV): “be-

loved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health,

even as thy soul propereth.” To prosper actually means to be ‘produc-

tive’; you are not prospering, if you are not fruitful or productive.

In John 15: 1-2 (KJV) Jesus said ‘’I am the true vine, my Father is the

husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away:

and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring

forth more fruit’’. That means for every branch that produces fruit, the

Father has a plan to make it produce more fruit; thus, if you have been

productive, God has a plan to increase your capacity and ability.

 God wants you to live a life where you’re constantly increasing in

relevance, fruitfulness and productivity in every good work, even as

you increase in the knowledge of God. Jesus said, “Herein is my Fa-

ther glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples”

(John 15:8). Our fruitful and productive lives glorify God; it’s one of

the evidences of the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. He brings

in that grace that affects your life and causes things to grow, increase

and expand.

Therefore in today’s class we would be studying ‘Fruitfulness’ ac-

cording to God’s Word:

 Be consistently connected
to the Source
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of

itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide

in me John 15:4 KJV):’’

he only way to be fruitful is to be connected to your source-

which is the Word of God. In the same way a fish cannot

live separate from water, that is exactly how the human

spirit requires God’s Word. The Lord says “…abide in me” (John

15:4) that is to say “stay in me.”

If you pay attention to God’s Word, you’ll always be fruitful and

productive. The Word of God is the answer to every question

and the solution to every problem. That’s why the Bible says in

Luke 6: 47-48 (KJV): “Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my say-

ings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like

 a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation

on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon

that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock”.

With the Word in you, you can overcome any challenge no matter

how difficult it may be. With the Word in you, you can overcome any

challenge no matter how difficult it may be. The Word in your spirit

guarantees your progress in life. Your spirit must digest the Word

until it affects your way of thinking and gives you a new mind-set.

Every so often, declare, “I’m the righteousness of God in Christ. I

have the life of God in me. I’m a success. I walk in health, prosperity,

peace and Joy!” Your confession of the Word manifests realities. Stay

in the Word, and your success in life and ministry shall be guaranteed

for all time. Hallelujah!

 BEAR FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
THROUGH SOUL WINNING
Proverbs 11:30 (KJV): “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that

winneth souls is wise.”

A
s a Christian, you are commissioned to preach the gos-

pel and show forth the kingdom-life to the world. The

Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:19 “To wit, that God was

in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their

trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of rec-

onciliation”. Get involved in transforming the lives of others; share

the gospel with people and become involved in world evangeliza-

tion.

There’s a depth in God you’ll never know until you start witness-

ing and winning souls to the Lord. There are signs and wonders

 you will never see until you start preaching the gospel. Once you

start preaching, even the most cynical people will pay attention to

you when they see the results of the gospel in your life.

When you become an effective witness of God’s Word, there will

be no limitations or restrictions in your life, because you’ve be-

come an unbeatable team with the Lord. Hence, you’ll never lack

miracles, signs, wonders, and testimonies in your life. This is what

it means to bear fruits of righteousness; fruits that would yield an

eternal reward. Hallelujah!

 CONCLUSION

T
he guaranteed way you become fruitful and effective in

life is by sharing the gospel and becoming a witness for

God. Take an active role in kingdom expansion. We had

our Global Day of Evangelism on the 1st of September, but don’t let

it stop there, let soul winning be your lifestyle.

Continue steadfastly in studying the Word, prayer and soul win-

ning; this transcends every other human responsibility, and its re-

ward is eternal. It won’t be long till the Master returns to take His

Church out of the earth.
