What is your greatest strength?

My greatest strength is my ability to stay focused on my work and finish tasks earlier than they are due. I'm not
easily distracted, and this means that my performance is very strong. I know this is a very busy office, and that this
job includes projects with strict deadlines. My focus will allow me to meet these deadlines successfully.

My greatest strength is my listening ability. I pay careful attention to what I’m being told about everything, from
specific information relating to current projects, to future projects, even to what my colleagues did over the
weekend. By being a good listener, I am more effective at completing projects efficiently. My listening skills also
help me effectively motivate others, which would be a large part of my job as head of the department.

Why should we hire you/choose you for this post?

My skill set seems to be a perfect match for what you're looking for. In addition, I enjoy working with people, and
would welcome the opportunity to be a part of your team.

I have an extremely strong work ethic. When I'm working on a task, I don't want just to meet deadlines. Rather, I
prefer to complete it ahead of schedule. In doing so, I see to it that I set my priorities so I can finish everything
smoothly.

What is your greatest weakness?

Not spontaneous, better when prepared – Since I am mostly organized, I am working on being more spontaneous
and flexible. I started by consulting my colleague to help me work on this because he is able to handle this well
when this was a struggle for me. He had recommended for me to be brave to express myself freely but make sure
to know my audience before delivering information. As it requires confidence in my delivery, I can say that I am
getting better. My boss is also helping me so I would usually join his meeting to listen to random questions. Then
at the back of my mind, I usually try to compose my own version of the answer.

Example of a difficult situation and how you handled it

I remember that there was a time when we really struggled in CSAT since we started a new skill (AliExpress). The
target of our client was 85% and we were only at 65% after 1 month of training. Our manager needed help from
QAs and wanted to have not only inputs but an improvement plan. In doing so, it requires to deliberate &
brainstorm within my team members. We had to present our analysis in the numbers, in the performance per
agent level, per team and determine our focused agents. Our team learned how to communicate effectively with
one another, and I believe we ultimately made the best decisions for the team as our CSAT now is being met
consistently.

Long term goals/How you see yourself 5 years from now

My long-term goals involve growing with a company where I can continue to learn, take on additional
responsibilities, and contribute as much value as I can. If given this opportunity, I am more than willing to fulfill this
goal with your company.

Do you prefer to work independently or on a team?

I have experience with independent and team-based work and I see the value in both approaches.
I am comfortable working alone and in a group depending on the situation. If the task is easy enough to tackle on
my own without brainstorming or breaking up the work without a team, I am happy to work on my own. However,
if the assignment is a high priority or too much for one person to handle, I am good working with a team to get the
best result. In my experience, mostly tasks would require a combination of independent work and brainstorming
depending on their various situations.

How do you handle stress?

I react to situations, rather than to stress. That way, the situation is handled and doesn't become stressful. For
example, when I deal with a difficult task, rather than feeling stressed, I focus on the impact of my task if my
delivery will be delayed and incomplete. I would pause and let go of negativity and I believe my ability to
communicate effectively with my colleagues helps reduce my own stress in these situations.

Tell me something about yourself that isn’t on your resume.

During my spare time, I would watch movies with my family at home. This is my relaxation and valuing time spent
with them is indeed rewarding.

At a very young age, I learned how to play chess just by watching my siblings play. I was interested to learn back
then and my curiosity helped me. I even read books to enhance my skill and later on, I didn’t realize that I can beat
them from time-to-time. Luckily, I became a representative of our class, then of our school and this was very
fulfilling for me.

What motivates you?

I'm motivated by digging into data. Give me a spreadsheet and questions, and I'm eager to figure out what's
driving the numbers. At my current position, I prepare the monthly analytics report. The learnings from these
reports help drive and determine how we would perform better for the following months, and providing the must-
know information, is really motivating.

Learning new things has always been a great motivator for me. In every job I've had, I believe I've always been able
to learn something new, or a new way to look at a problem.
