IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. The candidate should bring any photo identity card like Aadhar Card / Passport / Pancard / Driving
license which has clear visible photo, to the examination centre along with a xerox copy of the
same for verification.
2. The candidate should reach the examination center at least One Hour before the examination for
verification of Photo ID Card and for depositing his / her belongings. He/she will be permitted into the
examination hall 30 minutes before the commencement of examination and will not be allowed to leave
the examination hall till the end of the examination under any circumstances.
3. Candidates will not be allowed into the examination Hall after the commencement of the test under any
circumstances.
4. If photo is not printed on the Hall Ticket, the candidate is requested to affix his/her recent passport size
photograph in the prescribed area duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. The Candidate should sign below
the Photograph affixed.
5. The OMR (Optical Mark Reader) answer sheet will be invalidated in case of using the
Whitener/Blade/Eraser or any kind for tampering to change the answers on OMR answer sheet.
6. Hall Ticket must be produced at the Test Center and also in examination Hall, failing which he/she will
not be allowed to appear for the test.
7. A separate OMR (Optical Mark Reader) answer sheet will be provided to the candidate. The candidate has
to mark his/her answer to each question by darkening the correct circle by using "Ball Point Pen" of
"Black". The OMR answer sheet shall not be valued if they darken the answers of the questions by using
"Pencil or any other colored Pens".
8. The "Examination" will be for 100 Marks consisting of 100 "Multiple Choice" questions and each question
will carry "one" Mark. Section A contains 80 questions of core subject and Section B contains 20 questions
of General Awareness.
9. The candidate should write his/her Hall Ticket No. and Name only in the space provided at the top of 1st
page of question paper booklet.
10. Candidate should also write the booklet code and booklet number in OMR answer sheet. The
corresponding booklet code (A, B, C, D ) may be darkened in OMR answer sheet using good quality "Ball
Point Pen" [Black] only. Candidate should note that if they fail to darken the appropriate circle of booklet
code on the OMR answer sheet, his/her answer sheet will not be valued. Candidate should also bring
spare Black Pen to the examination center.
11. Immediately on opening the question paper booklet, candidate must ensure that
(a) he/she received the correct question booklet, and
(b) Whether 100 Multiple Choice questions are printed. In case of any discrepancy, immediately exchange
the question paper booklet [same code also] by bringing the error to the notice of Invigilator.
12. Candidate shall darken one of the circles 1, 2, 3 or 4 [answers to the respective question] on the OMR
answer sheet using ball point pen [Black] only.
13. The OMR answer sheet will not be valued if the candidate (a) writes the Hall-Ticket Number in any part of
the OMR answer sheet except in the space provided for purpose, (b) writes any irrelevant matter
including religious symbols, works, prayers or any communication whatsoever in any part of the OMR
answer sheet, (c) adopts any other malpractice.
14. Using of calculator/mathematical tables/log tables etc. is not permitted. Watches, Cell phones or any other
electronic devices are also not allowed into the examination hall; No loose sheets or papers will be
allowed in the examination hall. Rough work should be done only in the space provided in the question
paper booklet.
15. Adoption of any kind of malpractice or unfair means at the time of examination or any act of
impersonation, will disqualify the candidate from appearing the examination and such candidates will be
liable for prosecution.
16. The candidate should hand over the original OMR Answer Sheet to the invigilator before leaving the
examination hall. He is allowed to take away the Question Paper Booklet & carbon copy of OMR answer
sheet after completion of the examination.
17. The OMR Answer Sheet will be preserved for a period of 3 (Three) Months from the date of Examination
and there after they will be destroyed.
18. The Candidate has to follow meticulously all the instructions given on the Question Paper Booklet and
OMR Answer Sheet; else his/her Answer Sheet may not be valued.
19. Change of Examination Centre will not be entertained under any circumstances.
