NOUNS
Common Nouns and Proper Nouns
Common nouns are general names of people, animals, places and things. Common nouns can be singular (one)
or plural (more than one).
Proper nouns are specific names of people, animals, places and things. Proper nouns begin with capital letters.
When we say a singular noun, it means we are talking about only one person, animal, place or thing. If we refer
to something that is more than one, it is called a plural noun.
