 Did I fail to contribute to the support of the Church?

7 Capital Sins
Pride
 Boastfulness
 Human Respect (excessive regard for the opinions or esteem of
other people. Not doing/saying what you’re supposed to do/say
because you’re too afraid of what people may think or say)
 Self-righteousness
 Fault-finding
 Lack of humility to accept faults
 Not apologizing
 Superiority/inferiority complex
 Holier than thou attitude (you think that you are more holy than
others)

Envy
 Feeling happy for other people’s loss and feeling sorrow for other
people’s success
 Being bothered when the good deeds of others are seen/praised
while ours remain hidden
 Speaking ill of other persons and downplay their works
 We compete and resort to trickery to get even or ahead of those
whom we envy

Anger
 Impatience
 Temperamental with the shortcomings of others
 Loosing temper over little discomforts and annoyances
 Harboring grudges
 Lack of forgiveness
 Saying bad words, curses

Sloth
 Procrastination
 Mediocrity
 Passing to others one’s duties

Gluttony
 Lack of temperance in food
 Eating excessively to the point of getting sick or that other
persons/family members are not able to eat anymore

Greed
 Inordinate attachment to things/persons
 Prioritizing material things/persons more than God
 Using violence to acquire things
 Not sharing

Lust
 Impure thoughts
 Immodest clothing
 Not avoiding occasions/persons that may cause you to commit
impurity
 Immodest dancing
