1. Pupils play the Animal Riddles games. Teacher reads out a few riddles and pupils
guess the farm animals
2. Pupils listen to CD 2 track 7. Pupils guess the animals based on the animal sounds.
3. A riddle with 2 sentences are written on the board. Include blanks in the sentences

4. Pupils name a farm animal and try to fill in the blanks with descriptions about the
animal.
5. Pupils are guided to write their own animal riddles with the introduced sentence
patterns in their exit ticket.
Pupils are called out at random to read out their riddles while the rest of the class
