General Description
High quality mineral air compressor oil formulated with
highly refined paraffinic base oil and selected additives to give
excellent oxidation stability.

ISO grades 100 and 150.

Application
Recommended for reciprocating air compressors when mineral oil is needed or
for the running in period of some air compressors before synthetic oils are used.

Q ELF EPONA Z
General Description
Extreme pressure marine gear oil formulated with sulfo-phosphorus
technology. Designed to give low wear, high load carrying capacity,
high oxidation stability, good anti-corrosion protection and good
demulsification properties.

Grades Available
ISO grades 68, 100, 150, 220, 320 and 460.

Application
Recommended for all types of marine gears and bearings that require an “Extreme
Pressure” lubricant.
Typical applications aboard ship include: Gear drives for main propulsion system, fuel and
lubricant purifiers and various deck machinery.

Q FRIGA 2
General Description
Mineral refrigerating oil based on highly refined “wax free” type
naphtenic base oil with a very low pour point. Designed to give
excellent low temperature performance.

Grade Available
ISO grade 68.

Application
Recommended for refrigerating compressors using CFC, HCFC refrigerant or ammonia
(NH3) with evaporator temperature down to -10°C (CFC-HCFC) and -20°C (NH3).
Suitable for use with refrigeration gases: R12, R22, NH3.

General Description
Specially formulated turbine oils designed to meet the requirements
of modern turbines, bearings and reduction gears. Formulated from
specially refined base oils and anti-wear additives.

Application
The lubrication of marine turbines. It is also suitable for many other marine applications
such as: shaft bearings and stern tubes, turbo blowers, hydraulic systems, machine tools,
air compressors and for general lubrication when ISO 68 and ISO 100 turbine oils are
recommended by the manufacturer.

Q VISGA
General Description
Premium performance, high viscosity index anti-wear hydraulic oil.
Formulated to give excellent performance over the wide range of
temperatures experienced in modern vessels. Excellent thermal
stability and filterability.

ISO grades 15, 22, 32, 46, 68, 100 and 150.

Application
Particularly recommended for all hydraulic systems on board vessels fitted with high
pressure and high-speed vane, piston and gear type hydraulic pumps, remote control
systems, steering gears and other hydraulic deck machinery.

Q BARELF AL
General Description
High performance synthetic air compressor oil designed to give
a long trouble free in service life. Based on ALKYLBENZENE
giving a very low pour point and exceptional low temperature performance.

Grades Available
ISO grades 100 and 150.

Application
Recommended on reciprocating air compressors. Recommended also on refrigerating
compressors when using HCFC refrigeration gases with evaporator temperature down
to -60°C. Suitable for use with refrigeration gas R22.

Q BARELF CH
General Description
A high performance synthetic rotary air compressor oil designed
to give a long trouble free service life. Based on DI-ESTERS giving
exceptional resistance to oxidation.

Grades Available
ISO grades 68 and 100.

Application
Recommended for reciprocating and rotary air compressors and turbo chargers according
to specific OEM recommendation. Typical applications aboard ship also include the
lubrication of turbo blowers.

Q BARELF SM
General Description
High performance synthetic air compressor oils designed to give
a long trouble free in service life. Based on POLYALPHAOLEFIN
giving very low friction lubrication and exceptional resistance to
oxidation. A long life lubricant.

Grades Available
ISO grades 46 and 68.

Application
Recommended for rotary air compressors where a long period between oil changes is
desirable. Typical applications aboard ship include rotary air compressors and the
lubrication of turbo blowers.

NF ISO 6743 classified DAJ for heavy duty applications.

SYNTHETIC Q ELF EPONA SA
General Description
High performance synthetic gear oils designed to give long
and trouble free service aboard ship. Formulation using a
POLYALPHAOLEFIN base with a very high viscosity index.

Grades Available
ISO grades 220 and 320.

Application
Recommended for all types of gears and bearings working in extreme conditions of
temperature, load and speed. A long life oil allowing extended oil change intervals.
Typical applications aboard ship include: gears fuel and lubricant purifiers and various
types of deck machinery.

Q PLANETELF ACD
General Description
Synthetic high performance refrigerating compressor oil designed
for use with HFC refrigerants. Based on POLYOLESTERS which

Application
Recommended for refrigerating compressors using HFC refrigerating gases with
evaporator temperature down to -60°C. Suitable for use with refrigerating gases:

General Description
Synthetic high performance gas compressor oil designed to give

GREASE
General Description
Water resistant marine wire rope and open gear grease.
Based on CALCIUM SULFONATE COMPLEX thickener
technology bringing excellent thermal stability, good adhesion
to metal and extraordinary water resistance.

Grade NGLI 0.

Application
Open gears and wire ropes operating under the most severe marine conditions.
This product does not contain any solvent and requires application by spatula
or brush.

Q CERAN WR2
General Description
The ultimate water resistant grease for all general purpose marine
grease applications. Formulated using CALCIUM SULFONATE COMPLEX
thickener technology to give a multipurpose extreme pressure grease
suitable for use in temperature range within -25°C to +180°C.

Grade Available
Grade NGLI 2.

Application
Centralised lubrication systems, general machinery, bearings subject to heavy
and shock loading, slow oscillating bearing under extreme pressure, all plain
sleeve and guide bearings, journal bearings of the bush type.
