To meet the customer needs with mid-range B&W machines, the D010
is targeted between B276/B277 and the D007/D008. This provides
mid-range functionality at low cost. The D010 mainframe is based on
B276/B277 and a part of the exterior and options are designed based
on the D007/D008 series. The GW options will be released after the
BASIC, DDST and the PCL options are released.

Avoid areas exposed to sudden temperature changes:
• Areas directly exposed to cool air from an air conditioner.
• Areas directly exposed to heat from a heater.
Do not place machine where it will be exposed to corrosive gas or vapor.

Place the machine on a strong and level base. Inclination on any side should be no more than 5mm (0.2”)

Training Information
• Technical personnel certified on the B276 or D007 series models: auto-certification on the D010, with the addition of
a D010 New Features Overview (NFO) in PDF format included in the auto-certification kit materials. The NFO would
ensure target audience awareness of the D010 unique options and service procedures. D010 service
documentation, parts manuals, and operator instructions would be included in the auto-certification kit.
Training on the D010 mainframe is not required for B276 certified technical personnel, since the D010 mainframe is
highly similar to that of the B276.
• Technical personnel not certified on the B276 or D007series models: achieve D010 certification by first obtaining
certification on the B276 series or the D007 series models.

Ricoh is pleased to announce the release of the D010 MFP.
Major technical enhancements compared with B276/B277 are:

• Increased the copy speed: 20cpm -> 25cpm.
• Increased the scanning speed: 100mm/sec -> 122mm/sec
• Increased the capacity of the bank: 250sheets -> 500sheets.
• Improved accessibility: Modified the handling of the bank.
• New option: Finisher.

• Supports the DDST controller, which allows the mainframe to be a “Non-GW, Light MFP”
Connectivity (GW):
• GW controller
• PCL and RPCS drivers support the bi-directional communication without SmartDeviceMonitor for Client.
• User Authentication function with SD card is supported.
Note: This model does not require the HDD for User Authentication function.
A new features overview is provided on the Parts Catalog CD included in the update-training package that
reviews the new features and updates of the D010.
All previously certified B276/B277 and D007/D008 series technicians are automatically certified on the D010
product after a complete and thorough review of the provided update package and new features overview.
