be 60o and 295o respectively. The degree of the first curve is 4o and that of the second curve is 5o. Compute the stationing

10. Two simple curves are both convex to the Northeast. The first has a radius of 300 m. and its center designated as A. The
second curve has a radius of 500 m. and its center designated as B. They have been so located that the line AB connecting
their centers is 762 m. long and has a bearing of N 45o W. A third simple curve, concave to the Northeast with a radius of 50
m. and its center designated as C, is to be located so that it will be tangent to the other two curves. Determine the bearing of

11. A compound curve which fits with the topography is provided in a highway by connecting four tangents with a compound

stationing of A is 7 + 520, B is 7 + 815, C is 8 + 118, D is 8 + 318, and E is 8 + 564. If the last curve is four times sharper
