Anti-Aging Topical Study

Using ph²™ Catechin Complex

OBJECTIVE OF THE TEST

To compare the effects of Formulas A and B on the skin moisture content, elasticity and surface
parameters of 35 female Caucasian volunteers, 14, 28 and 42 days after the daily application of
both the formulas.

SUMMARY OF PROTOCOL
The study was carried out on the inner volar aspect of the non-dominant forearm of 35 Caucasian females, in
compliance with the principles established by the World Medical Association in the Declaration of Helsinki.
The aim was to evaluate in a crossover double blind study, the effects on skin moisture content, skin surface
parameters as well as skin elasticity of a formula containing active ingredients of a natural origin in comparison with
a reference formula.
Thirty five healthy female volunteers aged from 35 to 65 years took part in the study. The washout period
started 7 days before the study commenced. During the washout and study periods, the volunteers used only
Dove soap and no other skin care products. A recording area of (2cm x 6cm =12cm²) was marked on the non-
dominant inner forearm
