The Published book for RRB for recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP)
has been designed in such a way as to cater to the needs of Psychological/Aptitude
aspects of the test. The book contains questions according to the latest syllabus and
pattern of the examination. While writing the book, I have kept special attention
towards the fact that aspirants should be taught the concept lucidly so that they
can apply the tricks while solving questions of PSYCHOLOGICAL/ APTITUDE. The Tricks and
Concepts in the book will help the aspirants to solve the questions entirely in less than half the time than the
stipulated time.
The 20 years of rich experience which I have achieved at PATLIPUTRA COACHING in teaching
PSYCHOLOGICAL/ APTITUDE has immensely helped me in maintaining the best standard and quality of
the book.
Furthermore, for these long years the questions given by me to the aspirants have exactly matched

TEST–1 (MEMORY TEST – A)

Introduction–Figure Position Memory Test is an important lesson of Psychological/

Aptitude Test held by Railway Recruitment Board. In this test, total of 24 questions are asked in 2
sets. Each set consists of 12 questions and 4 minutes are alloted to solve them which includes the
time of colouring answers in Answer Sheet too. Thus, total of 8 minutes are alloted for 2 sets.
Every set consists of two pages. The first page is Memory Page which has 12 pictures/shapes
placed on different positions. Examinee has to memorise them (pictures/shapes) with their location
in the scheduled time of two minutes. In the next two minutes, Examinee has to find out the locations
of the pictures/shapes based on memory. The letter printed on the place of the picture/shape is your
answer to be coloured in the Answer Sheet. Thus in this test (2 Sets of 12 + 12 = 24 questions), total
alloted time for answering the questions are 8 minutes (4 + 4 = 8 minutes for two sets i.e. one com-
plete test). The alloted time of 8 minutes is inclusive of the time consumed in colouring the answers,
i.e. no extra time is alloted for colouring the answers in the Answer Sheet.
