Why we use the symbolism we use: Energy, Chakras, Meridians, Constructs, Programming

First thing is first, These lessons were written from the lens of a chaos magician. The of taking
whichever aspects of a paradigm appeal to you and using them to reinforce your own system
vibes well with me, so as a forewarning, all of the symbolism I will be teaching and using in this
class relates to concepts from other paradigms and uses them in ways that are not considered
standard to the source material.

EM and the symbolism as used in these lessons has two very important properties which should
always be taken into account, EM allows for instant gratification and it is verifiable.

Keeping these aspects in mind while interpreting the symbolism of EM is very important, as all
of the future uses of EM within this course will rely on these two constants.

Energy: energy is a wonderful placeholder term for the concept of using your spiritual power to
create and manipulate outside of yourself. We understand energy as a feeling in the body
relating to the spiritual, we feel it when we get goosebumps, when we feel like someone is
watching us, and when we experience great emotion. Energy as a concept is a subtle constant
all humans can relate to in some way or another, keeping in mind not to get it mixed up with the
concept of energy in physics.

Chakras: the “energy centers” where energy is produced within the spiritual body, they make for
great focal points and reference points on the body, as well as having a powerful egregore
attached. Within this system i personally use 108 energy centers, any system you are
comfortable with works. Chakras help give the energy system a shape and correlates to the
human body to give us an easier physical grounding mechanism to relate to, but also something
easy for us to apply our energetic senses to.

Meridians: the vascular system of the energy body. Meridians are used to carry energy across
the energy body, for internal transmutation of energy and complex constructs these become
very useful. The meridian system is also helpful for our energy senses, being able to track the
location and movement of energy within a defined system.

Constructs: Using energy to shape and form a spell without performing a ritual is rather
common, we call these constructs. Energy can be shaped into any geometric shape, and given
the will to do almost anything the practitioner can come up with, which gives us flexibility. This
wide range of possibilities is why energy manipulation makes a great secondary practice.
Programming: Infusing a construct or energy with your will is programming. There are many
different ways to program, such as visualizing a computer interface, “willing” it to have specific
characteristics, or giving it a set of boundaries and letting it go from there. This versatility also
leads into EM as a secondary practice, and the method of programming can be anything.

Keeping our constants in mind, we can see how energy manipulation can be useful in
verification of practice to help fight ego. The instant gratification can be used to slightly tweak
the energy in rituals to find out what things can be improved with practice and proper note
taking.
