Quantitative and qualitative approaches in general
Quantitative studies terms are paradigms of scientific research, since
both employ systematic and empirical careful
processes in their effort to generate knowledge.
They carry out observation and evaluation of
phenomena. They establish assumptions and ideas,
as a consequence of observation and evaluation.
They show the degree to which assumptions or ideas
are grounded. They review such assumptions on the
basis of testing or analysis. They propose new
observations and evaluations to clarify, modify and
substantiate assumptions and ideas or generate

DIFFERENCES
In terms of qualitative research, it is the research
method that focuses on the processes. Analyze the

main object the study of statistical data from which
probabilistic conclusions are obtained. This type of
research is produced by the cause and effect of the
phenomena. It should be mentioned that it is
deductive and objective.
Quantitative research, on the other hand, has the
purpose of confirming or refuting a hypothesis, that
is, testing hypotheses.
