Foundation Programme Examination

(Computer Based Examination)

1. The examination for the Foundation Programme shall be conducted online, .i.e. through
Computer Based Examination (CBE). The examinees will be assessed through Multiple
Choice Questions (MCQs).
2. The following is the scheme of examination for Foundation Programme (Computer
Based Examination):

3. Candidates are required to sit before a computer terminal and use computer-mouse while
attempting the questions.
4. Computer Based Examination would be held in 122 examination centres spread across
India and one centre at Dubai. List of examination centres has been given at the website.
5. Questions would be displayed on the computer screen both in English as well as Hindi
language except for Business Management, Ethics and Entrepreneurship paper, for which
questions shall be provided in English medium only.
6. The date of declaration of result of CBE would be published on the website of the
Institute.
7. To familiarise students with Computer Based Examinations - Practice Test, FAQs on
Computer Based Examination and Instructions to Examinees, etc. would separately be
hosted on the Institute’s website.
