Company Profile
Dewan Mushtaq Trade Limited is the trading arm of Dewan Mushtaq Group. The company was
established in the year 2005 and since then it is rapidly working towards developing a robust and
sustainable business portfolio of products and international partners. In its first year of operations
the company managed a turnover of over USD 10 Million besides USD 20 Million exports of
ethanol. Achievement in this short span of time is in itself a testament to DMTL’s aggressive
growth strategy, on the back of which the company is targeting a $50million turnover in next 5
years.

DMTL’s operating philosophy is to work through selected international partners of repute, enabling
a highly focused and target oriented approach towards marketing & selling of partner products.
The company is also pursuing manufacturing of Paints and Bio-Diesel exports through JV
arrangement with its partners.
DMTL currently has five major SBUs in its domain, Paints and Construction, Chemicals, Indent &
Bulk Commodities, Ethanol Exports and Plastics.

Chemicals

In the Chemicals Business DMTL is focusing on acquiring agency relationships with renowned
International suppliers, and in a short span of under 2 years has managed 6 international
agencies with active dialogue underway with many others. At the same time DMTL is developing
a product portfolio consisting of select general and specialty chemicals targeted at the major
industrial sectors of the country.

Indent & Bulk Commodities

Bulks Business is the major contributor of DMTL turnover and profits. Indent business of cement
Clinker, mil scales, Chromium and ethanol of distillers other than group are major area of
business. The business is actively pursuing developments in the Metals, Seeds, and food sectors.

Ethanol Exports

DMTL have successfully developed a reputation for Dewan Group as a Top Quality Ethanol
supplier in Europe. Different grades of Ethanol are sold in the international market produced by
Dewan Distillery. Ethanol Export business has annual turnover of USD 20 Million.

Plastics

DMTL is currently responsible for the management of the Polypropylene business and sells over
30 million Polypropylene Woven bags and 18 million Polyethylene liners to various industrial
sectors such as fertilizer, rice exporters, poultry feed, chemicals and food grain sectors. The
business is actively pursuing expansion in the sector and is engaged in active dialogue with
upcoming International manufacturers of plastic raw material for representation in Pakistan.

Paints and Construction

DMTL represent KCC Corporation Korea in Pakistan for their entire product range covering paints
and construction products. The Major areas of focus in the Paints Business are Heavy Duty,
Refinish and Decorative Paints. KCC is the number one Paint Manufacture of Korea, has factories
and offices all over the world. KCC is now making entry in Pakistan through JV with DMTL as
local partner.

DMTL in a very short span of time has developed a long list of reputable customers including
MNC’s in the industrial and OEM sectors. These efforts have drawn considerable interest of KCC
Korea to consider JV with Dewan and to build a local production unit in Pakistan.

In Heavy Duty & Protective Coating segment, we are serving the industry with a wide range of
products from highly sophisticated, highly automatic ultra modern paint manufacturing plants in
Korea & Malaysia. Our product range consists of:

Hi Build Epoxy Primers,

We are pioneer in Self Levelling Hi Build Floor Coatings in Pakistan. We are providing Self
levelling Hi Build Floor coating in 2mm build & 3mm build. A well trained, well equipped team of
applicators is always ready to serve our customers. They have carried out the job successfully in
large number of manufacturing concerns in Pakistan.

We are also dealing in all kinds of Marine paints like antifouling paints for ocean-going and coastal
vessels. High-performance, purely self-polishing, and revolutionary developed organotin-free
antifouling paints ensures maximum protection for any type of ocean-going and coastal vessels
under broad range of marine fouling organisms with its unique formation, and guarantees no
effect on the marine environment. Culmination of years of research and development into the
correct TBT-free solution and proven field experiences enable KCC to provide the right choice of
protection of the vessels to the customers. Our antifouling paints are approved as TBT-free anti-
fouling paints by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Lloyd's Register of Shipping (LR), Germanischier
Lloyd (GL), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), and Korean Register of Shipping (KR)

For Automotive OEM segment, we have concrete support from KCC Korea and Malaysia. We
have all the required painting systems in our product range and can supply on regular basis
without any disruption. Our product range related to automotive OEM consists of wide range of
products like Ultra Modern CED Coating system, Pretreatment Chemicals (Degreasing, Surface
Conditioning & Zn –Phosphating), Primers, Surfacers, Solid and Acrylic Metallic Top Coats etc.
