“St. Francis Xavier, a welcoming faith community lovingly sharing the gifts of God.”

1ST SUNDAY OF ADVENT

TH
NOVEMBER 28 , 2010
PRAYERS FOR THE DECEASED: We pray for our loved ones who have died recently
especially Adair (Sis) Masterson and David Vice.
PRAYERS FOR THE SICK AND SHUT-IN: “Let us raise up in prayer those who seek God’s
healing love, those at the hospital, hospice and at home”. We pray especially for Gary Cybulski,
and Kay Kasaboski . May your struggle be consoled by Christ’s love“.

From the Pastors Desk

ALTERNATE GIVING: As the gift giving season approaches we provide to you several
opportunities to share with the less fortunate. Catalogues for “ Chalice” are available
at the doors of the church.
The “Care Fund” is our parish outreach to local families who struggle at this time of
year. Your monetary donations or gift cards to local stores are most appreciated.
Please drop off to the office or feel welcome to place them in marked envelopes in the
collection basket. As requests come in we welcome your assistance as we reach out
to the unemployed and working poor.
———————————————————————————————–
ECCLESIA: Copies of the Advent issue of Ecclesia are available at the entrances of the church.
Please take them and share with those who cannot be here. We join with others of our Diocesan
family in being aware of the efforts of one another as we live our Catholic traditions.
