Duties & Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The site mechanical engineer (HVAC & Water &Sewer Engineer) will observe and confirm all mechanical works of the project and make sure that

all mechanical works are according to SOW, Specs and Drawings.

Its also responsibility of mechanical engineer to check all received mechanical materials to the site, to confirm specs & drawings of the

equipments, and to take off and make requisition for those items which have not been requested and included in the BOQs as required.

Essential Functions:

Typical work activities include the following:

•Ability of fully understanding and Reading of Scope of work, Specifications, BOQ and Drawings.

•Identifying customer requirements.

•Supervising all Mechanical works ( Water, Sewer and HVAC System)

•Managing, supervising and visiting contractors on site

•Thinking creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems

•Being familiar with all Mechanical Codes and Standards.

•Ability to prepare requisitions for all Mechanical Materials

•Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques

•Monitoring and commissioning all Mechanical system

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

BS in Mechanical Engineering

Certifications or license preferred

Knowledge Skills, Abilities & Experience:

•Minimum Experience: Three years (working experience with USACE Projects is preferred)

•Excellent written and oral communication skills

•Good knowledge of English language (reading, writing & speaking)

•Computer skills (MS Office Package) and AutoCAD
