Welcome to Biology I! With the cooperation of everyone, we

should have a great year. Biology I is an introductory course to the
fundamentals of Biology. The nature of this course will not only allow
you to discover biology in the classroom, but out of the classroom also
as Biologists do. We will be conducting several laboratory
experiments, activities, and going on field trips so attendance is crucial
for success in this class.

KEYS TO SUCCESS
• Be here
o Have the best attendance possible
o If you miss a lesson, lab, or quiz, make sure you take
care of this according to the guidelines below.
• Be on time
o According to school policy, if you have three tardies,
you get a detention, and no one wants that!
• Behave
o Follow the classroom rules that we agreed on, and
that you will have to sign a copy of.
• Be organized
o Get your binder now to save you the frustration later!
