Volume 1 The Tears of Calvary

by Ernest Angley

The Lord began to speak to me about divine tears some months

ago. I was shocked to hear Him say that His people were to cry
the tears of God. I pondered it. The tears of divinity are not like
our tears; water doesn't run down the cheeks of God. What is a
tear? A drop of salty fluid spilling from the eye. Divinity cries
without actual tears running down the cheeks. In this final hour,
saith the Lord, we must have divine tears, tears from God to cry
for the lost. We must shed the tears of God, the tears of Jesus, the
tears of the Holy Spirit in this final hour. June 1990

Topics: Calvary
God cried many tears when He discovered that man and woman
had sinned in the Garden in Eden. Oh, how God cried when He closed the ark door knowing He
would have to destroy everyone shut outside the ark! With immense yearning, love and
compassion, He cried in those last seven days of mercy, desiring hearts to change, wanting it. Oh, if
the people would only cry for mercy, confess their sins, ask for His forgiveness and let Him make
them holy! But in the days of Noah, no one outside the ark asked for forgiveness. How God wept
as His great hand swept down to close only eight souls inside the ark of safety! The rest would be
destroyed.

God cried when He turned Lot's wife into a pillar of salt; it broke His heart. He had sent two angels
into Sodom and Gomorrah to bring out Lot's family. Just the two daughters, Lot and his wife
started for safety. God cried when He knew all the rest in those cities would be killed because they
had sold their souls to the devil. And how God wept when Lot's wife in total disobedience turned to
look back. Even then the family had to go on; judgment had fallen. God knew how His righteous
judgment would hurt Lot and those two daughters, that their road ahead would be rougher without
her. Had the family remained intact, their way still would have been difficult. God saw their tears:
and God cried with them, joined His tears of divinity with human tears.

God cried when Israel failed Him. He had worked so hard to save them, so hard to bring them out
of bondage. Oh how He cried when they made a golden calf! God told Moses: thy people, which
thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: They have
turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a
molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These
be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt (Exodus
32:7,8). Israel turned their backs on the Living God: they didn't see His tears.

God had cried many, many times down through the years. He gave tears to the prophets. Jeremiah
today is known as the weeping prophet. How the prophets cried God's tears over the disobedience
of man! How they cried over Israel—and God cried with them. But no tears had ever fallen from
heaven from the beginning of mankind like the tears that fell at Calvary. If one could have seen the
tears of God then, it would have looked like the flood of Noah's day covering the whole Earth.

John 11:35: Jesus wept. The shortest verse in the Bible says it all. Jesus had tears, tears of
compassion, tears for man's sorrow, tears for his despair. Jesus cried over Jerusalem: O
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent
unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen
gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left
unto you desolate (Matthew 23:37,38). Jesus cried hopeless tears because Israel would not
accept His love, wouldn't accept Him.

God the Father had heard His Son in the Garden of Gethsemane: Father, if thou be willing,
remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done (Luke 22:42).
Human tears were rolling down the cheeks of Jesus, and God was crying heaven's tears.
Remember, Jesus was the God/man, and He was shedding the tears of a man in that Garden as well
as tears of divinity, tears from a broken heart. How sad, indeed! Now He's on Calvary, nailed to
the cross; and what agonizing cries were going forth! I thirst! Jesus cried (John 19:28). But even
in that awful condition, Jesus with His great compassion assured one of the thieves hanging with
Him: To day shalt thou be with me in paradise (Luke 23:43).

Human tears cried out on the cross: My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me (Mark
15:34)? Calvary's tears, those tears of love, of compassion flowed when it seemed to the human
part of Jesus that the Father had forsaken Him. But the tears falling from heaven blackened out
the sun, and darkness settled upon the Earth.

In verse 30 of John 19, the voice of Jesus is lifted again in a great cry, a cry of divinity that would
echo and re-echo for all time: It is finished! The plan of redemption was finished. Every man,
woman, boy and girl could now find the way to Calvary.

Those tears, the divine ones, bring in the lost. At different times the Holy Spirit said God's people
must have the tears of Calvary in this the final hour of the church. The tears of Calvary…what are
they composed of? "God," I said, "you will have to teach me the tears of Calvary. People need to
know them." One person expressed concern over not shedding tears for the lost; but human tears
aren't the tears of Calvary. Understanding the tears of Calvary can make the difference in your life
as a soul winner. There is nothing like the tears of Calvary.

Tears of Calvary bring rejoicing when the lost are brought in. They that sow in tears shall reap
in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come
again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him (Psalms 126:5,6). Human tears will not
be enough to reap the endtime harvest of souls; human tears are weak. They can be sincere or
insincere; but the divine tears of the Godhead are always true, always from the heart of God. The
only way you will be able to rescue the lost in this final hour will be to shed the tears of divinity.
There is nothing like the tears of divinity. In those divine tears are all of heaven's love, all of
heaven's compassion, all of the Godhead's yearning for souls to come and be cleansed through the
blood of Calvary.

The weight of the sins of all humanity rested upon Jesus. What a sacrifice He made! We won't be
able to cry the tears of Calvary for the lost without the great sacrifice. The early church cried the
tears of Calvary and thousands were saved in a day. They cried with the same compassion in their
voices that Jesus had; they cried with the same love, the same sacrificial tears.

Stephen cried those divine tears; that's the reason he had compassion for the ones stoning him. As
his body was in great pain he shed divine tears. Although the rocks were pounding his body, the
blood pouring out, although soon he would be dead, he kneeled down, and cried with a loud
voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep
(Acts 7:60). Stephen had the same love, the same Spirit, the same tears of Calvary that Jesus had.

Through the tears of Calvary, Stephen could see beyond this life into eternity. The tears of Calvary
will not blind you, but will give you great vision of the eternal fate of a lost and dying world.
Calvary's tears bring the vision of the lost world that Jesus died for, making real the value of lost
souls as He saw them. When you cry the tears of divinity, you see spread out before you the
magnificent plan of salvation and feel God's great yearning for all peoples to come to Him. Color-
blind, nationality-blind, loving everyone because God made them all, you cry His tears.

Night and day the Bride of Christ will shed Calvary's tears in this final hour. Her tears will be like
the tears of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, tears of compelling
love—heaven's love—tears with heaven's faith and compassion. Crying for the lost, your whole
being reaching out for them, you give no thought to sparing self. It's anything, Lord, to bring in the
lost. Call on me night and day, Lord; call on me for a fast, long or short. Call on me, Lord! I will
lose sleep, I will go hungry because of your compelling love that abides on the inside of me. It's no

longer I that liveth, but He that liveth in me. Since divinity lives on the inside of me, I have the
tears of Calvary. Your heart will swell within you, aching for the lost to come home, come home to
Jesus.

The black, black clouds of tribulation billowing on the horizon like angry smoke from some gigantic
furnace will not deter you. You will be like the Master Himself, crying as He cried, holding nothing
in reserve. Your tears will be tears of such strength, such power that they will draw heaven
down—angelic beings—to join in, to help in the great harvest. There will be no self in those tears.
You will not be asking the cost; your cry will be as His: I will give all; I will give everything. I will
give the last drop of blood I have to bring in the lost.

To be able to cry the glorious message: Whosoever will, let him come to the Lord! is thrilling. But
the importance of sending the message to the lost will not mean to you what it should until you
have the tears of Calvary. If you're "at ease in Zion," there will be lost sons and daughters who will
not come into the Kingdom; for you will have no Calvary tears to draw them. It took the tears of
Calvary to bring God's salvation to mankind, and it takes the tears of Calvary to serve it.

Let your mind go to the Master Himself holding the whole world in one hand and holding just one
soul in the other. This one soul is worth more than all the wealth of the world. What would a man
give in exchange for his soul? He'd give the whole world if he could, the whole world. You'll never
really weigh souls like the Master did until you have the tears of Calvary. When you can shed the
tears of Calvary, souls will be paramount, no sacrifice too great.

What will it cost to be the soul winner God wants you to be? When you have the tears of Calvary,
you will be saying, I don't need to know the cost, Lord, just give me grace, courage to pay it. I will
never ask what it will cost: I will pay whatever it takes to win souls.

With the tears of Calvary the Lord gave me a vision of the damned. He took me to the brink of that
awful place called hell. I never dreamed I ever would see anything like it; the vision was so very
real. I leaned over the edge of hell and looked far down. The smoke of torment was rising; the
tormented had no way of escape. Suddenly I thought about my Bible. It seemed only the Bible
could help them. Frantically I began searching for my Bible at that fearsome time. My Bible was
always with me—where was it now? Then the Lord said, "They're out of reach of my Word; out of
reach of my love." Oh how I cried, human tears so hot they seemed to actually burn my cheeks!
Never had I experienced such a vision before. I was helpless. A damned people…and I could do
nothing. If only I could have let down salvation's scarlet thread for them to climb out—what I
would have given! How I yearned for them, how I cried for them, how I would have loved to have
rescued them from such a terrible fate! But it was too late. The scarlet thread, the scarlet rope
could no longer reach them. They had sinned away their day of Grace. Calvary's tears had been
scorned.

My mind has traveled back to that terrible vision again and again. Sometimes I'll be in the pulpit

pleading for souls to come to Jesus, and suddenly I'm in the vision of the lost. Suddenly I'm on the
brink of hell, looking down to the smoke of their torment, and I think of that time I had no Bible.
It's wonderful to have the tears of Calvary, to sow the Precious Seed, the life of Jesus, the plan of
salvation; but woe to those who reject that Seed!

How terrifying for a soul to be on the verge of plunging into hell! God has used this servant of His
to rescue more than one in that position. A few more days and they would have been in eternal
torment, a literal, burning hell. With all the compassion of Calvary as it flowed through me I was
able to rescue some, not because of my human desire, but because of Calvary's tears. Through the
tears of Calvary I could wade on in, get inside their hearts.

It's dreadful to look into a soul and see the demonic spirits that bind that person! But with the
tears of Calvary, you are able to cast out demons. You have all the power in the name of Jesus to
use, all the strength. With the tears of Calvary in your voice you cry, In the name of Jesus, come out
to enter that person no more! and the spirits have to obey. With the tears of Calvary you recognize
demonic spirits that bind people.

The tears of Calvary will be the greatest glory of the church in this final hour, furnishing much
power to win the lost. There's life in the tears of Calvary, strength. As the tears of Calvary go into
the highways and the hedges, the lost are compelled to come in. Come to Jesus! Come to Jesus! In
the tears of Calvary are the voices of the Almighty, of the Son of God and of the Holy Spirit…the
tears of Calvary.

You will not accept the tears of Calvary until you accept the One who shed those tears, until all your
sins are washed away and you have been made a new creation in Christ Jesus. None but the
redeemed can cry those tears. Sinners will never be able to cry the tears of Calvary, saith the Lord.
Those tears, remember, are tears filled with all the compassion of the Almighty, all His love for
mankind, all the yearning of God for human beings.

The tears of Calvary are available to you, but you must set self aside and take on the divinity of the
Lord. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by
these ye might be partakers of the divine nature (II Peter 1:4). Partakers of His divine
nature, how wonderful! To have such tears of love and compassion is thrilling. Those kind of tears
will melt stony hearts. Those tears are the reason so many are coming to Jesus now. We travel to
the mission fields with the tears of Calvary. Over 100,000 have been saved in just one service.
What did it? The tears of human beings? No, the tears of Calvary. God's people and God's
messenger with the tears of Calvary melted hearts of stone. The tears of Calvary will dispel the
darkness, cast out the evil of Lucifer. Oh the power, the power in even human tears, power that has
brought a change of mind, an altered verdict; how much greater are the tears of Calvary!

What will the tears of Calvary do for this world in this final hour, oh Bride of Christ? Wonders,
great wonders and miracles. The Bride of Christ, the apple of His eye is walking in His steps,

wearing His shoes. Her garments spotless, the wrinkles, blemishes all gone, she carries the
Precious Seed of the Word watered by the tears of Calvary. It's her most valuable possession, her
roadmap. The Bride knows she can bring everyone out of darkness who will accept the Precious
Seed, and so with the tears of Calvary she sows: Come to Jesus! Come to Jesus! For there is
none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts
4:12).

Who is the Bride? Many will not recognize her. Who is she that looketh forth as the
morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners
(Song of Solomon 6:10)? She's the Bride of Christ. Beautiful but terrible to the enemy, the Bride
like an army tramples devils underfoot, taking authority over demonic powers. Crying with the
same voice that Jesus cried, she commands demons to come out in the name of Jesus. And they
have to obey.

The powers of darkness that bind people will not be able to hold them unless the people want to be
held. If a faint cry for God is within that devil-possessed one, saith the Lord, that one will be
delivered in this final hour, set free.

With the strength and confidence of heaven, the Bride cries: Our Lord cometh! The coming of the
Lord is upon us! With the tears of Calvary the Bride points out the Bible prophecies being fulfilled
in our day, lighting her way. She is not despondent over the fulfillment of them, over the false
peace upon the Earth even now. She knows it won't last. Although the nations are crying peace,
peace, she knows they are headed for the battle of Armageddon. The Bible says: For when they
shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail
upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape (I Thessalonians 5:3).

We've seen false peace breaking out on our planet in a way we never dreamed it could happen.
Don't be deceived by it. Without the tears of Calvary you can be deceived, deceived about the
things of God, about the soon coming of the Lord.

Jesus told us, Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and
putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: So ye in like manner, when ye shall
see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors (Mark 13:28,29).
The Jewish nation, represented in the Bible by the fig tree, is blooming. The events leading up to
Armageddon are beginning to take place, and soon the world will see the horrors of the Antichrist
and the Great Tribulation. Just before the Tribulation Period, however, Jesus will come again to
take His Bride from the face of the Earth. The great rain of the Holy Spirit is pouring down,
preparing people for the Rapture; but without the tears of Calvary you won't really recognize the
glory of this hour—or the danger.

The tears of Calvary will compel you to be wide awake in all that God has said and promised. The
promises of God come to life with the tears of Calvary. Oh Lord my God, above all, give us the

tears of Calvary for a lost and dying world! Help us not to be calloused, not to have a spirit of
indifference. Unless you carry the tears of Calvary, saith the Lord, in this final hour indifference
will be yours. You will be asleep or sleepy at the midnight hour when your Lord comes, and you
won't be watching. But with the tears of Calvary, you're sowing, watching, seeing and knowing that
all God's prophecies are being fulfilled. You're listening, for you know your Lord will come. You
know that it's almost midnight; you know the hour you are in.

Oh, the tears of Jesus! He denied all of self, and that's what we will do with these same tears, tears
He cried. Jesus paid the price that God the Father called for. We'll pay the price with the tears of
Calvary, tears that tore heaven apart, spread all over heaven. Never before had heaven shed tears
like the tears of Calvary. And in this final hour, I'm sure, plenty of divine tears will fall in heaven.
Vessels here on Earth that are pure and clean will be filled with heaven's tears, Calvary's tears,
divine tears. In this hour, there will be the greatest cry that's ever been, saith the Lord, for lost
humanity. There will be more voices than ever before that will cry with the tears of Calvary as the
Bride takes her final walk.

The tears of Calvary, the tears of Calvary…don't mistake the tears of man for the tears of Calvary. I
say again, salty water running down your face doesn't necessarily mean you are really crying the
tears of Calvary for the lost. The difference between human tears and the tears of Calvary depends
on how much of Jesus is in your heart, on how much of His love and compassion, His yearning, His
divinity you have. What greatness, what mighty wonder are in those tears! Put every mother's,
every daddy's cry from the beginning of time all together and they will not have the effect and
power of the tears of Calvary. The many different kinds of human tears do not compare to divinity
crying for the lost. Of all the millions that have come and gone, of all the thousands of years of
tears in this sin-cursed world, none are like the tears of Calvary.

We must be totally possessed by the Holy Spirit in this our final hour so we can cry the tears of
Calvary through Him. We can only cry the tears of Calvary through the Holy Spirit Himself; He
came to help us cry those tears.

We today owe the early church much. Totally possessed by the Holy Spirit, they had to become like
Jesus in order to cry the tears of Calvary, to take His mind and sow the Precious Gospel Seed. The
mission God had entrusted to them was vital to all the generations following; it is vital to us today.
No wonder the Apostle Paul tried so hard to convince people to take on the mind of Christ! He
wrote: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5).

Only when you take on the mind of Christ can you really understand the terrible danger of a soul
lost from the presence of God. On your own, it is difficult to visualize a person in hell who is still
walking here on Earth. If that loved one dies without God, the destination of hell is a reality most

will not accept even though that one lived an ungodly, degraded life and did not repent before
death. Only through the tears of Calvary will we be able to come to grips with such a disaster. We
will face the grim truth because of the divinity that lives on the inside of us. God does not shield us
from the reality of hell; His people who walk close to Him know there is a literal burning hell.

Tears of Calvary…let heaven cry through you for the lost. Yield to God's will; yield to the message
of the hour. When you cry the tears of Calvary, Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Spirit cry with
you. We must cover the Earth with the tears of Calvary, going forth to sow the Precious Seed of
salvation and the Holy Ghost baptism. Only through the tears of Calvary, remember, can we come
rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves of the harvest of souls. Nothing less than the tears of Calvary can
bring in all the Precious Seed. The tears of Calvary mean great sacrifice, complete surrender to the
Lord, being under subjection to His holy, divine will every moment that we have left. No backing
down, no pushing Him away, no reservations are in the tears of Calvary. In them we will love and
cry for the lost as we love and cry for our own souls.

Many of God's people have not gone beyond human tears to cry for the lost. They think they are
carrying a great burden for the lost; but when the time for all-out sacrifice comes, they back away,
unwilling to pray and fast in order to gain the power needed to shed Calvary's tears. Howbeit this
kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting, Jesus told the disciples (Matthew 17:21).
Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men (Matthew 4:19). But not until they shed the
tears of Calvary did the disciples know what following Jesus into soul winning really was.

When did the disciples receive the tears of Calvary? In the Upper Room on the day of Pentecost as
the Holy Spirit took over and possessed them. That infilling marked the moment the church of
Jesus Christ truly went into operation, when soul winning began to take place the way it was
intended. Thousands were swept into the Kingdom. At last divinity was living on the inside of men
and women, divinity in the form of the Holy Spirit, crying the tears of Calvary through them.

But as time passed, things changed: self-tears entered the church of Jesus Christ and took the place
of Calvary's tears. It was a tragedy. When the church became lukewarm, it lost the message of
hell—many preachers today will not preach it. Neither will they preach the judgments of God as
recorded in the Bible. They tune out everything but a little love story. God called His ministers to
preach the truth, to tell it all—and they will if they have the tears of Calvary. Without those tears,
ministers simply tickle ears, avoiding sound doctrine, destroying the very souls they are supposed
to be helping and winning for the Lord.

The tears of Calvary are the only tears the Holy Spirit cries. Have you ever experienced the Holy
Spirit crying through you? I remember the time when I was a little boy that an evangelist and her
pianist—two ladies—came to our church. The amazing story of the pianist marked me with a great
weight. Because she had found Jesus, her wealthy family placed her in a mental institution,
claiming she had lost her mind. Disowned by family, she had paid a great price, giving up
everything to follow Jesus. No doubt the family wanted her institutionalized for life, but the
doctors decided she wasn't mentally unbalanced. No she wasn't; she had taken on the mind of
Christ and her people hated that holy mind. I had never before heard the Holy Spirit actually cry
through a person; but as the story was told, the Spirit of the Lord came upon her in such a cry of
compassion that His love flowed through every part of my body while cold chills ran up and down
my spine. That cry of the Holy Spirit held the attention of everyone in the building, and it
happened several times during that meeting. I will never forget how the Spirit of the Lord came
upon her, and how that cry went forth, that cry of love and compassion. From city to city, town to
town she traveled to tell the story, carrying the Precious Seed of the Word of God watered with the
tears of Calvary.

There is a price to pay for the tears of Calvary, a price to sow the Precious Seed with those tears.
But with the help of the Lord we can all pay that price; everyone can have the tears of Calvary.

God gave His heart when He gave Jesus. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life (John 3:16). For God so loved the world He gave all to make the tears of Calvary;
all of heaven was included in making the tears of Calvary for a lost and dying human race. After
Jesus ascended back to heaven He sent the Holy Ghost to dwell in the hearts of everyone who
would accept Him. Think what a sacrifice for heaven, what a sacrifice for the Third Person in the
Trinity of the Godhead to be living in human lives, working, being grieved, shedding tears of grief
because people will not obey! It's a sacrifice that has continued down through the years and is still
being made today. Grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day
of redemption (Ephesians 4:30). When we fail, when we disobey and prevent the Holy Spirit
from crying the tears of Calvary through us, He is grieved, grieved.

The Bible tells us that we can have the fruits of the Spirit, the nine fruits: love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance (Galatians 5:22,23).
Just nine fruits needed for the tears of Calvary, nine supernatural fruits produced in our lives
through the Holy Spirit. Jesus had the nine fruits, and since He needed them, how much more do
we need them! He gives us everything He had in the tears of Calvary through the power of the
Holy Spirit. Yield to the Holy Spirit. Only as you give over to Him can He produce His nine fruits
and flow the tears of Calvary through you, tears of Calvary in your voice, in your vision, your
hearing, in your whole being.

Again, don't be deceived in thinking that physical tears flowing down your cheeks mean you have a
real burden for the lost. Many times human tears have been used alone, but they generated only
weakness. Had the tears of Calvary been flowing, souls would have been won. Human tears, I
repeat, are not strong enough to accomplish the work God wants done; it takes the tears of divinity,

the tears of Calvary. Nothing less will do His work in this final hour.

Paul with the tears of Calvary wrote: I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also
bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, That I have great heaviness and continual
sorrow in my heart. For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my
brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh (Romans 9:1-3). Paul was willing to be cursed
if it meant his lost brethren would have heaven. Because Paul had the tears of Calvary he made
such a statement, demonstrated this great love.

With the tears of Calvary we can cry at the end of our journey here on Earth as Paul cried: For I
am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a
good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up
for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at
that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing (II Timothy
4:6-8). Paul, remember, was willing to be cursed if it meant that Israel would find salvation;
Stephen with his dying breath forgave his murderers. They were partakers of the divine nature.
With the tears of Calvary, we too, are partakers of His nature, bone of His bone and flesh of His
flesh. We are a part of the Lord. That's the reason we live like Him, act like Him, talk, work, sing
like Him, and now cry like Him.

You can no more shed the tears of Calvary without the Holy Spirit than you can do the works of
God without divinity. Man within himself cannot bring souls into the Kingdom; that takes divinity.
There is no salvation without divinity. Divine blood had to be given, a sacrificial offering in order
for man to be accepted in heaven. Human blood can not enter heaven, only divine blood. Divine
blood was used to make man into that new creation acceptable to God. Jesus walked down the
avenue of Glory with divine blood and said, Father, here it is. I gave all. Because the atoning,
divine blood of Jesus is eternal, our salvation is eternal, too. The blood of Jesus will never be
contaminated. Thank God for the blood! Thank God for the tears of Calvary! The tears of Calvary
are blood tears.

The early church gave their lives for the message of salvation. What will you give for such a
message? They gave their lives to have the tears of Calvary. What will you give? Are you going to
be caught up in making a life of your own, preoccupied with family and friends as though you will
be on Earth forever? What will be your priority that morning the sun rises on your final day on
Earth before Jesus comes? Will you be somewhere with the tears of Calvary? Will the Holy Spirit
in those final moments be flowing every tear of Calvary through you He possibly can upon the
human race? It's a crucial time, and yet such a glorious time, this last and final hour before Jesus
comes again.

Spirit is saying and doing. Walking in the holiness of Jesus, the Bride is not contaminated by the
world. The world holds no lure for her, her eyes are on only One: Jesus. She longs for the time He
will come as she completes her last-hour preparations. Sowing Precious Seed, the Bride is doing
the Master's will that she has been commanded to do. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am
with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:19,20). And this
gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;
and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14).

The Bride is busy with the great "Go-ye": Go ye therefore and teach all nations. There is no
Go-ye without the tears of Calvary. This great commission of Jesus would not be obeyed until His
followers had the tears of Calvary. Jesus told them: And, behold, I send the promise of my
Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power
from on high (Luke 24:49). After they received that power of the Holy Ghost they were ready to
go into all the world to preach the Gospel to every creature.

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;
they shall speak with new tongues…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall
recover (Mark 16:17,18). With the tears of Calvary, the Bride will deliver many multitudes of
devil-possessed people. Because of the tears of Calvary flowing forth to deliver, the devils will not
be able to hold on to many they once had under their control. The tears of Calvary have the power
of deliverance, liberty and freedom, greatness in the Lord.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray
for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which
cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the
Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God
(Romans 8:26,27). As the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us through groanings we cannot utter,
He flows forth the tears of Calvary through us, vessels of clay. Divinity lives on the inside of God's
yielded Children, making intercession according to the will of God.

This is an hour of total submission, of never grieving the Holy Spirit, never doing or saying
anything that would hinder Him, of giving Him complete freedom as the early church did in the
very beginning. All the love, peace, compassion of heaven can flow through human beings when
divinity lives in hearts, producing His fruit daily. Isn't that miraculous? The whole plan of God is
miraculous. Miracles and healings take place today because of divinity that lives in the hearts of
men. We are partakers of His divinity, of His nature. We have become like Him. Oh the tears of

Calvary!

Long ago on a hill far away stood an old rugged cross. Eyes of those who loved Jesus filled with
human tears when it seemed as though that cross meant defeat. Later, after they received the tears
of Calvary, they saw with the clear vision of those tears the whole plan of God—and delighted in
total obedience to it. Reaching out for Calvary, they paid the price. It cost many lives, but they
were laid down willingly that the Precious Seed would flourish.

Oh Precious Seed, we dare not sow you any other way but with the tears of Calvary. We dare not be
without those tears one moment of the day or night. We dare not meet one lost soul without the
tears of Calvary, without the Precious Seed of the Gospel, no matter the cost.

Of course we'll have to deny self, sacrifice much, coming under subjection to all God's will. But as
the Master said: Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will,
O God (Hebrews 10:7). You come in His Spirit; you come with the tears of Calvary. Then you will
be able to truly say, I have come to do thy will, oh God.

We will work until day is done. We will work until the midnight cry comes: Behold, the
bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him (Matthew 25:6). We will trim our lamps with the
might and the power of the Holy Spirit as we go forth in the glory of the Holy Spirit Himself to
greet our Lord in the air. Even so, come, Lord Jesus (Revelation 22:20). We are waiting for
your coming Lord; but we're not idle while we wait. Idleness would be no waiting for your coming
at all. Clothed and armed with everything needed to win the lost at any cost, we are busy shedding
the tears of Calvary, busy co-operating with the Holy Spirit night and day so we will not come up
lacking in anything as the Precious Seed is sown.

The tears of Calvary will flow until that great day, that marvelous day we read about in the book of
Revelation when the Lord will wipe away all tears. He will dry human tears, and then wipe away
the tears of Calvary from the Son of God, from the Holy Spirit Himself and from His own eyes.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things
are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new
(Revelation 21:4,5). No more tears, no lost souls to cry over. Those who answered God's call will
have heaven for all eternity. Not one life there will ever be contaminated by sin. No need for any
more tears, human tears or the tears of Calvary; but the Lord surely will have them bottled up in
heaven as an everlasting memorial, the tears of Calvary.

If you want to know where we are as the Bride of Christ in the Holy Scripture, if you want to know
God's timetable, the tears of Calvary will let you know how limited our time is. Honor Him, honor

Him, and He will bless you greatly.

I have carried the tears of Calvary all these years, but the Lord had to break down their meaning for
me, explain them to me so I could explain them to others. I have been willing to sacrifice anything
and everything, and that's the reason He could use me. It's amazing to me. I had the tears, but was
unaware of all that made up the tears of Calvary. I wasn't able to separate those tears from my
own, from my own yearnings until the Lord taught me the tears of Calvary. Man didn't teach me
about them; I had never heard anyone talk about the tears of Calvary. This knowledge came from
God. Now in the endtime anointing, you have come into something great and wonderful: the
reality of the tears of Calvary.

Will you help shed the tears of Calvary in this final hour? Sinner, don't you want the tears of
Calvary? But first you must have the power in those tears to wash away every sin stain, to destroy
all corruption. The sacrificial blood flows in the tears of Calvary; God said so. If your heart is not
right with God and you want those sins to be blotted out by the blood of the Lamb pray this prayer
with me now:

Oh God: Save my soul! I am so sorry that I sinned against you, but I have come home. I'm going to
serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I believe in Calvary. I believe in the blood of Calvary, and I
believe the blood of Jesus washes away all of my sins. Come on in, Jesus, come on in!

If you meant that prayer, He has come into your heart. Go on to receive the baptism in the Holy
Spirit, and you will be given the tears of Calvary as you yield to Him daily, given the tears of Calvary
through the Holy Spirit Himself.

Yea, saith the Lord: This is your hour of great victory. This is your hour of great deliverance.
This is your hour of great harvest. Be not troubled; do not be in a state of despair. There will be
many tears of heartache. There will be many tears of tribulation and persecution, many tears of
despair; but be not troubled by your tears of despair.

I will give you strength, and my love will help you with those tears. I will breathe upon you again
and again; I will be with you all the time. My Spirit will be poured out to you without measure.
My glory will be upon you, and you will be glorious in my sight; but you will be hated by the
world. You will be hated by those who hate me. Think it not strange when they turn from you.
But I will love you with an unending love; I will give you an unbelievable joy, and you will have
unbelievable strength. Your vision will indeed be clear, and you will hear that which you have
never heard before. You will be alert in my Spirit and conscious of my Spirit. And you will not
grieve my Spirit as some have grieved my Spirit in the past. You will be alive in my Spirit, and my
Spirit will be reality to you like your hands, like your eyes and like your feet.

I will be able to deal with you in a way that I have never been able to deal with you before. I will
be able to deal with you as I have longed to deal with you, and fellowship with you as I have
longed to fellowship with you. You will be conscious of my presence day and night, and you will
know in your heart that I will never leave you nor forsake you.

You will do my work; you will do my will. You will have the tears of Calvary; and you will sow
my Word throughout the Earth, saith the Lord, in this your final hour.
