Swot Analysis

This swot analysis is carried out as a part of my MSc Advanced Nursing

studies course, on my role in supervision of health care assistants .I believe it will help me to
identify my strength, weakness, opportunities and threats in my role as supervisor of health
care assistants in the care home where I am working. This assignment needs critical thinking
and insight to attain its goals. I made an honest and sincere effort in carrying out this swot
analysis to the best of my ability and knowledge.

Health care is a vast area and I
cannot learn each and every aspect of

domiciliary care workers because
they will be in different homes .It is
difficult to go to each house and
supervise them.

A supervisor is legally responsible
for any errors made by the trainees.
Such situation creates a lot of stress.

Many people working in the
field are not interested in their
work and do not do their work
properly. Such irresponsible
workers can create lot of trouble.
