INDUSTRY VISITS
Scope of Project
This project focuses on determining the skill index of employees under each plant after training. It is helpful for
calculating the performance deficiency by which further training needs are identified. It also involves
comprehending the extent to which employees are able to imbibe the concept during training by taking feedback of
employees who had attended the programmes through survey as well as map the usability of the programme to
make training & development more effective. It includes identifying the percentage improvement of each plant /
unit in overall skill, which is required to be more focused for training & development.
Organisation : Tayo Rolls Limited, Jamshedpur.
Title : Study Different Process Covered by Scientific Services Department in the Company.
Duration : 4 Weeks.
Scope of Project
This project aims at different testing methods for quality assurance of products. It also involves different steps
adopted in Chemical Lab & Metallography Lab to know chemical properties of samples. It includes mapping the
practical aspects of different metallurgical processes such as Heat Making, Foundry and Heat Treatment.
