2.0 INTRODUCTION
BAKTICON ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. considers the health and safety
of its employees, the client’s employees and to members of the public.
We also pledge not to cause any harm to the environment.
The HSE Plan has been developed in accordance with the requirements
of the “Laws of Malaysia”, Act 514, Occupational Safety and Health Act
1994.
3.0 SCOPE
The intention of this document to describe the action plan to manage
all HSE activities to safeguard personnel and equipment during the
work activities. This HSE Plan shall apply equally to all Sub-
Contractors employed by BAKTICON ENGINEERING SDN.BHD
4.0 ORGANIZATION
The BAKTICON ENGINEERING SDN.BHD Management Team shall be
fully responsible for the implementation of the planned work activities.
The Safety Officer shall provide the necessary support for the execution
of the HSE plan.
6.3 HEALTH
The Health of all BAKTICON ENGINEERING SDN.BHD and
employees is an integral part of the site’s HSE policy. To
accomplish this end, the following shall apply:

Full consideration of the following must be observed:
6.5 ENVIRONMENT
All activities at the site shall be carried out in an environmentally
acceptance manner as governed by the Environmental Impact
Assessment Report (1993) and Environmental Quality Act 1974
and regulations made there under.
6.5.2 NOISE
Employing noise control methods wherever possible will
minimize noise impact.
7.0 SECURITY
All personnel and vehicles will report to the OWNER security gates
before entry and when leaving the plant.
All materials entering and leaving the plant must be declared. A list of
all tools and equipment brought into the site must be forwarded to the
OWNER Security personnel. Completed Goods Removal Forms are
required for materials that are to be removed from the plant.

HSE PLAN
All vehicle entry is subject to inspection and a vehicle entry pass will
be issued. For vehicles used to ferry BAKTICON ENGINEERING
SDN.BHD from entrance to the temporary rest area, these vehicles
must be pre-inspected and details of the vehicles submitted to the
OWNER Security for preparation of a dedication temporary vehicle
entry pass.
SAFETY STATICS
BAKTICON ENGINEERING SDN.BHD shall send a Statistics Report to
OWNER at the end of the project.
