ATTENDANCE POLICY
Calvary Chapel Bible College requires 100% attendance. All attendance issues will be handled by the
Registrar’s Office and not your instructor. If you miss class and you believe it may be excused, follow
these simple steps:
(1) Go to the Registrar’s Office and fill out an Absence Form with an explanation of the reason
for your absence within 2 class sessions from the date of your absence (two weeks for weekly classes or
two days for block classes).
(2) We encourage you to listen to any sessions you miss and take notes. Anytime you are absent,
you will be held responsible for the information covered in the class you missed. If you want to listen to
the class you missed, go to the Library and get the audio recording. If you do not have a writeable CD of
your own, the Library sells CDs for $1 each.
(3) As soon as you return to class, turn in any homework that was due on the day you missed. On
the front of your paper, write “Late due to absence” so you won’t lose additional points. All late
homework must be printed out and given to the TA at class before the class begins, not submitted online
or to the Registrar’s office.

Missions Week: If you attend an authorized CCBC mission trip during Missions Week, you will be
excused for missing class only if you submit an Absence Form and an Evangelistic Outreach Form. Both
of these forms are available in the Registrar’s Office.

LATE HOMEWORK POLICY

Here’s what to do if you don’t get an assignment turned in on time:

(1) First, do the assignment! Assignments are designed to help you learn, it will be good for your
final grade, even if it is late.
(2) Second, print your assignment. You can use the Library printers for 10 cents per page, but
late assignments will not be accepted through Populi. If you upload them, you will not
receive any credit.
(3) Finally, turn your assignment in to your TA at the next class session, before class begins.
(4) That’s it! You will have 20% taken off your assignment grade for each week it is late (each
day for block classes). Homework that is late only because of an absence will not be affected
by a grade penalty. See the “Attendance Policy” above.
