Ephesians 4:15-16 (NLT) Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and
more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together
perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole
body is healthy and growing and full of love.

What is a Family Group?

Family Groups are the main expression for carrying out the “Love People” part Rather than looking
of Bridge of Hope’s discipleship process. We want to live out the Gospel
at a subject and change
message with other believers as we journey with Jesus. We find a group that we feel
comfortable with in sharing a deeper, personal relationship. Then we stay with that classes, we want you to
group for at least 1 year or more. We try to not have more than 12 people in a group
“ join in with a group
so that everyone can feel free to share.
of believers and
As we begin to grow spiritually, socially, and emotionally and learn to “do life
together,” we literally begin to take on the characteristics of a healthy family. Rather
change subjects….
than looking at a subject and change classes, we want you to join in with a group of
believers and change subjects throughout the year. Pray together. Help meet one ”
another’s needs. Support and encourage one another. Serve together in the church
and outside of the church walls. Really get to know one another and love each other
as Jesus has called us to do.
With this in mind, we are no longer advertising what subject each Family Group is currently studying, because we want
you to focus on your relationship with Jesus and with other believers at Bridge of Hope. We will learn together, and we
will cover over a multitude of sins with our love for one another! Let’s grow together! Jesus intended the church to
function as the human body. He is the head, and we are all the other parts doing what God has created us to do. How
exciting to find a place where you belong!!
