ACCREDITATION
The National Board 01 Directors 01 the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) is pleased to announce that
21 Members successfully completed the Society's accreditation requirements in 2010.
To receive the APR designation, candidates must engage in specialized studies, pass a rigorous written and
oral examination, and submit a detailed example 01 their work. Candidates must have a reputation lor
integrity and high ethical standards earned during a minimum 01 live years 01 lull-time employment in public
relations and communications. The program is administered through the Society's National Council on
Accreditation.

successlully completed the Society's College 01 Fellows requirements in 2010.

To qualify lor Fellowship status, Members must have been public relations practitioners lor 20 years, CPRS
Members lor 10 years and must have obtained Accredited Public Relations (APR) practitioner certification.
They must also be recognized as having brought. a significant contribution to the practice of public relations
and communications management and to CPRS.
