Course Outline:
Students will learn the basic concepts of Model Checking. Students will learn
how to explore the literature, ability to give presentations by both in writing and
in orally under instruction from the supervisor through actual practices.
Attainment Objectives:
• Students are expected to study literature and technology Model
Checking and make presentations on those what students have
researched.
• Through those activities, students are expected to be able to state his
interested problem on Model Checking.

Note:
Depending on individual theme, supervisor will provide optimal instructions with
optimal order. Evaluation (grading) will be implemented by following standards
stated below.

(1) Investigation Ability: If students have investigated existing technology and


understood. If students have understood the position of researched
technology etc...
(2) Ability in finding problems: If students could clarify problems and
background of issue and could narrow down the problems which enabled
them to tackle.
(3) Express Ability: If students could fully understand and could explain easily
regarding to what they have investigated.
(4) Continuous Assessment: Attitude for research, attendance and willingness to
attend seminars.

Advice to Students on Study and Research Methods:


It is important to understand the technologies, application of each technologies
and current problems and issues. Also, students should ask many questions
actively toward presentations given by other members to enhance own ability.
