1) Approval of minutes taken from a regular meeting


held 3/8.

2) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to


accept the low bid submitted for roof replacement
located at the Tree House Children’s Museum. Bids
to be opened 3/22.

3) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to


accept the low bid submitted for water meters for a
six month period. Bids to be opened 3/22.

4) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to


accept the low bid submitted for pre-stressed wood
pole equivalent concrete poles for the Electric
Distribution department. Bids to be opened 3/22.

5) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to


enter into a Professional Agreement between the City
and Pan American Engineers for the design of the
Alexandria Industrial Park Rail Spur. (A & E 2/8:
RECOMMEND)

6) Introduction of an ordinance amending Section 27.5-


26 of the City Code by adding revised local limits for
wastewater treatment plant under the City’s
Wastewater Pre-Treatment Program.

7) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to


execute a Perpetual Rental and Electric Service
Agreement with the Alexandria Housing Authority.

8) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to


accept the lowest quote received from Southern
Power Systems for priority repairs for Twin Bridges
Substation 230 KV auto transformer for the Electric
Distribution department.

9) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to


accept the lowest proposal received from PSC
Environmental Services, LLC for household hazardous
waste transporting, disposal & reclamation services.

10) RESOLUTION directing the Administration to cease


and desist litigation efforts, including but not limited
to the filing of appeals/writs, in the Tiffany Sanders v.
Alexandria Civil Service Commission matter.

F. ORDINANCES FOR FINAL ADOPTION


SUBJECT TO PUBLIC HEARING

11) To consider final adoption of an ordinance


authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid
submitted for construction & maintenance materials
for various using departments.

12) To consider final adoption of an ordinance


authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid
submitted for trimming & removal of trees and limbs
around high voltage lines for the Electric Distribution
department.
13) To consider final adoption of an ordinance
authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid
submitted for clamps & couplings for a twelve month
period.

14) To consider final adoption of an ordinance


authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid
submitted for janitorial chemicals for a twelve month
period.
15) To consider final adoption of an ordinance
authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid
submitted for operating supplies for the Electric
Distribution department.

16) To consider final adoption of an ordinance


authorizing the Alexandria Police department to
accept money received from the Louisiana
Commission on Law Enforcement for equipment
purchased to be used by K-9 Narcotics Unit.

17) To consider final adoption of an ordinance


authorizing the Mayor to renew existing contract with
Environmental Resources Management (ERM) for the
Utility and Public Works divisions.

18) To consider final adoption of an ordinance


authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement
and other related documents for professional design
services with Barron, Heinberg & Brocato for City Hall
exterior envelope water sealing and other
improvements. (A & E 2/22: RECOMMEND)

19) To consider final adoption of an ordinance


authorizing the Mayor to accept the quote received
from Barney’s Police Supplies, Grimes Industrial and
Mid-State Supply for rainwear for a twelve month
period.

LEGAL COMMITTEE
20) To consider final adoption of an ordinance
authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with
Alexandria Auto Auction and Bonnette Auction
Company for professional auctioneering services to
be used on an “as needed” basis. (LEGAL 3/22)

21) To consider final adoption of an ordinance


authorizing payment of Thomas D. Davenport, Jr.,
attorney for the Alexandria Civil Service Commission.

22) To consider final adoption of an ordinance rescinding


Ordinance No. 247-2003, in part and to the extent
that it places the Civil Service department under the
supervision and control of Human Resources.
