The boogie bass below has been changed to 3/4 time so that you will practice slowly. ~6 not pro-
ceed to exercise No. 2 until No. 1 has been memorized, using correct fingering.

Practice the following octaves with a loose arm. 110 not proceed to exercises 4 and 5 until vorl can

Again, slow practice is nc3ccssarv to master the correct fingering for the following chromatic scale in

Almost all of the right-hand phrases in Enchanting Boogie consist of three single notes followed by a
four or three-note chord. Do not slur the single notes into the chords. However, be sure you do not
staccato the last note in the single note group. This is not easv and will require some careful practice.

In measures 17 and 18 (also coda), practice lifting the bottom two notes of the first chord just before
plaving the following chord in order to connect smoothlv.
