Jesus Turns Water Into Wine

And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner
of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins
apiece.

Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they
filled them up to the brim. And he saith unto them, Draw out now,
and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare [it].

When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made
wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew
the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth
good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is
worse: [but] thou hast kept the good wine until now.

Withered Hand Restored

And, behold, there was a man which had [his] hand withered.
And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath
days? that they might accuse him.

And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you,
that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath
day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift [it] out?

How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is

lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he

stretched [it] forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

Fig tree lighted

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and
found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let
no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently
the fig tree withered away.

Walked on the Sea

And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them,
walking on the sea.

And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they
were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for
fear.

But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good

cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

Centurions Servant Healed

For whether is easier, to say, [Thy] sins be forgiven thee; or

to say, Arise, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of
man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the
sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine
house. And he arose, and departed to his house.
But when the multitudes saw [it], they marvelled, and
glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man,
named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith
unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house,

behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with
him and his disciples. And when the Pharisees saw [it], they
said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with
publicans and sinners? But when Jesus heard [that], he said
unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but
they that are sick.

But go ye and learn what [that] meaneth, I will have mercy,

and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but
sinners to repentance.

Paralytic healed

And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy,
which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh
unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he
was: and when they had broken [it] up, they let down the bed
wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith,
he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven
thee.

But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and

reasoning in their hearts, Why doth this [man] thus speak
blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? And
immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so
reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason
ye these things in your hearts?

Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, [Thy] sins

be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and
walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power
on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way
into thine house.

And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth

before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and
glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

The Dead Raised to Life

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you,
That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of
heaven.

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go

through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into
the kingdom of God.

When his disciples heard [it], they were exceedingly

amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

His Transfiguration

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his
brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as
the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold,
there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good
for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three
tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for
Elias.

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed

them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is
my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
And when the disciples heard [it], they fell on their face, and
were sore afraid. And Jesus came and touched them, and
said, Arise, and be not afraid. And when they had lifted up
their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

The Multiple Fed

Then Jesus called his disciples [unto him], and said, I have
compassion on the multitude, because they continue with
me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not
send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so

much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?
And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And
they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
