CTMS Summary 2010 Variance Report to the School Community

The 2010 Variance Report details National Standard achievement in Reading, Writing and Mathematics for students in Years 1 -8 at CTMS. A
full report was presented at February 24 BOT Meeting. A copy of the report is available for parents/caregivers at the school office.

In establishing a level, teachers have used a number of assessment tools to determine an Overall Teacher Judgement (OTJ) for each student
in Reading, Writing & Mathematics.

The following results summarise the achievement of students at Mid-Year and End-of-Year assessments. Student achievement is identified in
the following categories; ‘at risk’, ‘towards’, ‘at’ or ‘above’ the National Standard.

The following graphs summarise student achievement across the school in Reading, Writing and Mathematics. A brief breakdown of the results
is given for each curriculum area.
