UTTARAKHAND STATE INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED (USIDCL)

USIDCL is an undertaking of Government of Uttarakhand with a mandate for infrastructure

development viz. construction of roads, bridges, buildings, and other infrastructure projects within and outside
the State. USIDCL seeks to induct professional for following posts on Contract/Deputation.

Qualification and Experience

Resident Engineer (Civil)- (i) Essential- The candidate should be a graduate in Civil Engineering with
appropriate minimum post qualification experience of 3 years of construction of Roads/Bridges/Buildings etc.
(ii) Desirable- The candidate having experience of supervision of major infrastructure projects will be preferred.

Resident Engineer (E&M)- (i) Essential- The candidate should be graduate in Electrical/ Mechanical
Engineering with appropriate minimum 3 years post qualification experience in field working quality control,
supervision etc. (ii) Desirable- The candidate having experience of major buildings and heavy machineries shall
be preferred.

Junior Engineer (Civil)- (i) Essential- The candidate should be diploma in Civil Engineering with atleast 3
years relevant post qualification experience in field working related to infrastructure works. (ii) Desirable- The
candidate having P.G. Diploma in computer application/ programming shall be preferred.

Junior Engineer (E&M)- (i) Essential- The candidate should be diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
with at least 3 years relevant post qualification experience in field working related to infrastructure works. (ii)
Desirable- The candidate having P.G. Diploma in computer application/ programming shall be preferred.

GENERAL INFORMATION
• Only one application from a candidate will be entertained. Please apply for the highest post that suits your
qualification and experience. • Relaxation in terms of upper age limit of 5 years is admissible to SC candidates
as per the policy of the Uttarakhand Government and for Ex. Serviceman the relaxation in upper age limit will
be admissible as per GOI rules. • Reserved vacancies will be available for candidates having their caste
certificate issued from Uttarakhand State only. • Vertical and Horizontal reservation for the above advertised
posts will be applicable as per the policies of the Uttarakhand Government. • Experience of working in IT
enabled/Computer environment is essential for all the above posts. • USIDCL will not be responsible for
application lost in transit without reaching MD, USIDCL. No correspondence in such cases will be entertained.
• Only short listed candidates will be invited for interview. No correspondence or enquiry (written or personal)
will be entertained in this regard. • The number of posts may increase or decrease. • The above said post have
all India liability. • Application found incomplete in any respect shall be summarily rejected. • Any
lobbying/canvassing would disqualify the candidate. • Initially the contract/deputation period is for three years
but can be reduced or extended as per requirement of the Corporation. • Candidates possessing desirable
qualifications or even higher qualification will be given preference. • Candidate serving Government/Quasi
Government Department/Organization/ Undertaking will be required to submit their application through proper
channel along with No Objection Certificate, last 5 year’s ACRs and no enquiry report from their parent
department/ organization. An advance copy of application can be submitted to avoid delay in submission of
application through proper channel. It will be the responsibility of the candidate applying for contact post to
arrange for his/her lien with the parent organization. • For the posts at Sl No. 3 & 4 registration in any
employment office/exchange of Uttarakhand is necessary. • 5% annual increase of the salary will be admissible
depending upon performance of selected candidate on contract. • Other perks will be admissible as per USIDCL
rules. • Allowance and pay protection to candidates on deputation shall be given as per present rules/regulations
of the State Government. • The maximum age limit for deputation as on 01.01.2011 for any of the above posts
 is 50 years. •There is possibility of implementation of 6th pay commission recommendation benefits. •
Minimum post qualification experience requirement will be determined as on the last date for receiving
application i.e. 05.04.2011.
