insulation and cladding, blasting and painting, refracting, fireproofing and fire protection,

scaffolding and HVAC ducting. The company was established and operating in UAE since 1987

as one of the major UAE national owned, well known contracting, manufacturing and trading

company. They are well experienced in all types of the above mentioned works, working on

many major projects, including refineries, power and desalination projects, cold storage, oil

storage tanks, high rise buildings, commercial and industrial buildings. They have a well trained

and highly skilled workforce capable of executing any type of insulation, scaffolding, and the

rest of the things mentioned above. The company is reputed for its reliability, dedication to

Manufacturing:

They have two manufacturing factory units in their Mussafah facilities for production.

- Albercht Baumer's Foam Cutting Machine - (Prefabrication, computerized cutting

and shaping machine for PIR/PUR foam products)

- MABI cladding factory - (Prefabrication of Pipes, Bends and etc.)

As a manufacturer INSULCO EMIRATES have designed and installed a fully equipped

prefabrication unit at Mussafah, employing the latest high tech equipment in the manufacturing

and prefabrication of PIR and PUR foam insulation, computerized cutting and shaping

machinery ensure that every item is correctly cut to size and shape for the different demands of

clients.

Insulco Emirates has a selected and approved suppliers and conduct

annual vendors assessment, by forwarding vendors assessment
questionnaires around the workplace.

How the process delivers the order winners:

Purchasing of materials ( Local Supplier for Trading and Projects)/ (Overseas Supplier
for Trading and Projects)

Send enquiry to the suppliers, after receiving their quotation, select which supplier gives the best
price/best quality.

Purchasing Receiving Material: Upon the delivery, certificate of conformity, delivery note,
technical data, etc. check by the QC inspector.
Issuing material:

Materials, delivery note, and other supporting documents for the delivery.

Competitive dimensions:

 Cost: The manufacturing of their products is cheap because of the low cost on labor and

the low manufacturing cost because of their manufacturing facilities being in Mussafah

which is much cheaper than any other place.

 Quality: They have well trained, highly skilled, experienced workers in their

manufacturing facilities, this result in better quality. And over the past years they have

Mussafah Plant Facilities:

This is further enhanced by the installation of the most advanced equipment for

shiplapping, bevelling and cutting of mitres according to customer requirements. Items, such as

elbows and tees can be supplied as manufactured or partially fabricated for eas and fault-free

application.

To complement this, additional high specification equipment has aslo been installed in

their Mussafah warehouse and fabship to prefabricate the metal cladding, most of it computer

controlled, eliminating probelems in the cutting, rolling, shaping, swaging, punching of holes etc.

each piece is an exact replica of the required design and ensures fast, efficient for trouble free

installation. The benefits of this are passed onto the client in terms of cost and time savings.

The workforce is highly experienced and well trained ad to date and have produced over

3 million items, all to our ‘zero defects’ Quality policy.

What type of Planning and Control System are used?

Insulco Emirates Planning Department undertakes all the planning activities from

detailing stage to procurement and execution. The main objective in planning is to have a cost

effective timely completion of works, Resources Planning and procurement activities are given

special attention. The execution stage has been planned before hand closely monitored.

Planning Department schedules the work activities in accordance with agreed programmed and

contract specification.

Process Control documents are produced where the absence of the same would adversely affect

quality.
