What are the best and worst things about the QM?

Best : Drinks prices! The friendliness of the board and committees. Cheesy pop is obv a fave…

What QM events do you attend? (Quizzes, Clubnights, Committees etc)

 Outwith the QM’s beautiful walls, what do you like to spend your time doing?

I’m a guide leader so spend a lot of time involved with guiding. I like going to gigs,
when I have the money :p! Procastinating by playing the sims… Attempting to
bake cakes in the flat… Desp for a job so always out looking ): And ofc, facebook and
tumblr!

We’ve decided you’re only allowed three items to survive Freshers’ Week, what are they and why?

1. A bottle of tequila: It gets me drunk quick and I can no longer taste it!
2. A pack of cards so drinking games can always happen!
3. A freezer full of ice cream/lollies – best hangover cure!

 Tell us about the most embarassing thing that’s ever happened to you.

Umm, either when I was just starting high school and I dropped my mac and cheese everywhere in the middle of
the canteen and everyone laughed ):
Or more recently in Swansea when I had one too many shots and apparently pulled my gay friend Andrew…
Hmmm, that was an interesting night to say the least.
There’s actually too many, just remembered when I fell off my chair and passed out in a game of ring of fire, what
a calamity I am! …

Tell us a joke.

Let’s have some good old elephant jokes here.. 

How do you know if an elephant’s been in your fridge? There’s a footprint in the butter

Why so some elephants paint their toenails red? To hide in cherry trees

Why do elephants wear shoes with yellow soles? So you don’t see them when they float upside down

 What was the best bit about your own Freshers’ Week?

Without a doubt, the white t shirt party. It was such a fun night and an amazing way
to meet loads of new people. Getting the t shirt as a souvenir was cool too and kinda made
you feel a part of the QM!

Given the opportunity, how would you theme this year’s QM Freshers’ Week (T-Shirts etc)?

Fantasy/wonderland theme! Alice in wonderland ball would be amazing!

Could have sci fi elements for other events. (dr who anyone…?)

Make believe things for décor and t shirts: rainbows, unicorns etc.

Finally, what makes you special? What else should we know about you?

Well , I’m not sure if it will ever come in handy in Freshers week, but my one talent I like to lay claim too

is being pretty awesome on a DDR machine!

I’m also just really super enthusiastic and would love to do freshers week all over again and show people

how awesome the QM can be!
