Printing your course materials

You are receiving this document as the materials for this Course
are supplied via the USQStudyDesk.
It is not always necessary, or the best option, to print all your study
materials. Some materials are better viewed online. However, if you do
prefer to use printed materials there are some key elements of these
materials we suggest you prioritise.

In most cases (not all) your course will contain:

• Introductory Materials
• Course Modules
• Selected Readings

There you will find:
• an HTML and a print-friendly version of these materials, in Portable
Document Format (PDF), under the ‘Course content’ link (Figure 1).
• a PDF icon at the top right-hand side of each individual screen
(Figure 2).
• PDF icon/s at the top right-hand side of the ‘Contents’ screen, if
applicable, for a) introductory material, b) study modules and
c) solutions (Figure 2).
• The course may also link you to readings housed in the USQ DiReCt
system (Figure 3)

Your print options choose to print some or all of these documents.

You may choose to print your materials yourself and that is fine. However
the University does provide a cheaper option for you if you prefer.

Printing through Print Express at the USQ Bookshop

The Print Express offers a print on demand service which provides you
with two main options:
• The ‘Printer Face’ service allows you to order your printing online. This
service may be accessed through the U Connect Portal or directly at:
https://printexpress.usq.edu.au
• If you prefer you can order ‘over the counter’ at Print express on the
Toowoomba Campus. Figure 3. Many Courses also have selected readings that are stored on
USQDiReCt. These are usually linked from within the Course
content. You may choose to print some or all your readings.
