Description:
SETUP BUSINESS GROUP:
A Setup Business Group is supplied with Oracle HRMS. This business group is used by
the default responsibility. You can use this business group with all of its default
definitions as the starting point for your own Business Group, or you can define other
business groups to meet your own needs.

Locations are shared across Business Groups in HRMS and with two other Oracle
applications: Inventory and Purchasing.

in location, we can give the scope of the business organization as global or local.

By default, its given as global and it’ll be available to all business groups.

Job:

Description:
In job description, we must describe about the job by its group, name and so on. It has
valid grades, extra information, evaluation, work preferences, map Surveys and
requirements, we are using only valid grades

Job group:
It shows about the job group and links it

Position:

Description:
Position description is nothing but the designation description in the organization. It
explains about designation, valid grades, Reporting to(we’re not using this). We can see
who are all in that position and their details.
By others Occupancy|| In others there we can get extra information, map surveys,
requirements and Work preferences (we’re not using this).
EMPLOYEE:

Enter and Maintain:


In this we can enter and maintain the overall details of the employee in our organization
like general information, personal info, PF number these are in main form.

OTHERS Absence, contact, disabilities, end employment, extra information (i.e.)


miscellaneous and passport details, person type usage, qualification, schools and colleges
attended.

ASSIGNMENT shows the employee’s working organization, designation in detail,


probation information for trainee only, statutory information (i.e.) it shows that
employee’s esi, pf, gre (tax organization), pt, pf under which organization, purchase order
information and some other details, salary information, entries (i.e.) deduction and other
salary information.

In others tab,
OTHERS Adjust balance, costing, External/manual payment, extra remarks such as
esi, pf, pt, it declaration and deduction exemptions, pay method (i.e.) salary transaction
details, quick pay, reverse run, statement of earnings, vehicle allocation.
