Description:

Marine Midland Bank was a bank formerly headquartered in Buffalo with several hundred branches throughout
the state of New York. Functionalities included in this application are Funds Transfer, Holds, Stop Payments,
Change Account Details, Closing Account, Financial Enquiries and Non-financial Enquires. This project involved
extracting data from different sources and loading into a Data Marts. The major job involved in cleansing the
data and transforming the data to the staging area then loading the data in the Data Marts. The Data Marts is
an integrated Data Mine that provides feed for extensive reporting. It enables an insight into the current and
future financial situation/needs based on the information received from the Data warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Performed Design, build & test parallel jobs to extract files from Oracle Enterprise stage.
• Used the Data stage Designer to develop processes for extracting, cleansing, transforming
and loading data into Oracle Data warehouse.

extract, transforms, and load the data into claims data warehouse.

Telstra plans to implement a Business Intelligence Solution for the initial subject areas being Customer care,
Profiles and authorization, Online content and Online billing etc

The objective of the project is to design and build a data warehouse for query and analysis using the data
stage as an ETL and the data was extracted from files, transformed and loaded into oracle target this project
gives an insight in to business trends and makes them better forecasting.
