Recruitment
* Coordinated the applicant process, screened, and evaluated candidates against
job specifications, interfacing with managers on position requirements; facilit
ated interviews. Assured selection process adhered to all EEO, ADA and other com

* Developed recruiting strategies; identified sources for candidates; coordinat
ing job fairs, external/internal job boards, and temporary employment agencies.

managers to ensure the alignment of the descriptions with the actual job respons

* Maintain all steps of employee recruitment through an application tracking sy
stem, coordinate hiring process which includes making the offer of employment, o
btaining the offer letter, drug test, background check and new hire paperwork.
* Schedule new employee orientation, request computer accesses, employee badge
and desk set-up along with supplies.
Training & Development
* Designed, developed and conducted new hire orientation.
* Developed various soft skill training programs and deliver to different audie
nces.
Employee Relations and Service
* Consult with employees and managers to address root causes of performance iss
ues.
* Conduct employee relation investigations; review all counseling's, verbal, wr
itten and final written communications. Validate corrective actions and terminat
ions are followed consistently and in adherence to all compliance regulations th
roughout Departments. Facilitate corrective action and termination meetings.
* Implementing formal and informal communication measures to ensure awareness o
f key events and policies. (I.e. benefits administration, open enrollment, and n
ew benefit roll out.)
* Utilizing knowledge and experience of legal requirements on employee/job rela
ted issues: EEO; ADA, FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, etc.
* Assisted with special projects - Blood Drive Campaign, employee recognition,
Events Committee.
* Participate in unemployment hearings and appeals.
* Maintain an Open Door policy.
Benefits/Compensation/Payroll
* Conduct benefits communication programs and training for all new hires.
* Point of contact for questions in regards to any of our benefit programs, pay
roll concerns and proof of employment documentation.
