INTRODUCTION:
Desktop Spy Camera is a complete utility to monitor target user's action
in the windows desktop. This utility captures the screen at regular intervals a
s specified. Thus, it captures clips of screen pictures, which if you would like
can be converted to AVI format files. The 'desktopspycamera.exe' contains four
apps all bundled into one. (I have called them individual apps because the four
of them are only bond to each other to handle different types of jobs)

3. Clip Player
4. AVI Writer
GETTING STARTED:
To get started using the app, this is a short introduction to all of the
m. (cause I didn't think anybody would need this! If you have serious problems,
scroll down to the end for the contact address)
1. Desktop Spy Camera
To begin, run the exe (from wherever you have installed). A dialog appea
rs. Fill in the information. Enter information about when to begin the recording
in the first box. In the second box, enter the information about when to stop r
ecording. Likewise, in the third box enter the information about shot interval (
it is the interval between two shots). In the fourth box, enter path where to sa
ve the pictures. In the fifth option, select 'Whole Desktop' to capture all the
desktop and 'Active Window' to capture only the active app window. You can use t
he shortcut keys (see the main dialog) to control the recording. Click 'Start' t
o begin.

2.Clip Viewer
This utility helps to manage your clips easily. It is available by click
ing on 'Clip Viewer' on the Desktop Spy Camera's main dialog.
3. Clip Player
This utility helps to show all the in serial wise order as video. It is
available by clicking on 'Clip Player' on the Clip Viewer's main dialog.
4. AVI Writer
This utility helps to write AVI files from your recordings. Both bmp and
jpg files are supported. Be noted however, that all the pictures must be of 800
x600 pixel size. Please do insert "0.jpg" (provided in the app folder) in the fi
rst frame of your every recordings.

For XP users and win98 users having process viewers: To prevent a user from dete
cting 'desktopspycamera' from Task Manager's processes view, paste a copy of des
ktopspycamera.exe and ijl11.dll to system folder and rename and change icon for
the exe file to something special such as 'systemconfig.exe'. Now a registry val
ue must be altered 'cause the exe now has a new path. (WORD OF WARNING BEFORE CO
NTINUING: It is supposed that you have configured 'DSC' to start recording from
system startup from the target user's account and u are currently logged on as
the other user. Key location may vary if not done so) Type 'regedit' on the 'Run
...' command found in the 'Start' Menu. Navigate to 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\
VB and VBA Program Settings\Runexe' and change the value to the path of the 'DSC
''s exe. Done !!!!
